I've been listening to this song since a new group of friends introduced me to rock music back in 1982. Quick to judge, quick to anger slow to understand/ Ignorance and prejudice and fear walk hand in hand. Neil Peart was a prophet of some kind. Long live RUSH!

Magnificent video, really stunning 💯 Congratulations as always. This is such a great song with a powerful message about the dangers of mob mentality and the urge to oppress those who are different ❤

Thank you for reminding me of this great song. My personal favourite is "The Trees", I consider it absolute masterpiece by Rush. But overall a lot of very good sharp social lyrics and songs they made.
@pitpride1220Ай бұрын
Neil no longer stood by the lyrics in The Trees. He became a self described bleeding heart libertarian. Which is why he dodged questions on the lyrics and minimized the meaning of the lyrics. They all outgrew their short Ayn Rand period.
@EvgeniyNeutralMusicianАй бұрын
@@pitpride1220 That does not matter at all. He may dodge the questions, but the composition is already made. And it's not just about the lyrics; Alisa Rozenbaum has very little to do with why I like it, even though I knew her family in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. That's good that they outgrew her looks on complex system, even though back in the day she go a lot attention from the west, and still it's party popular. Anyway, it's a great composition.

@@EvgeniyNeutralMusician I agree, the composition is brilliant
