I'm same as you. Most of my 'everyday' kit is from junk shops. The cauldron is a 12" round bellied copper pan with a brass handle (£10). Just needed a good scrub up. Brass brazier for coals also £10 - was being sold as a plant holder in an antique store. Bells, anointing bottles, sand timers (including hourglass), essential oil burners, pottery goblet, slate, wooden offering bowls, pottery jugs, all sorts of stuff I've collected for just a few quid here and there. Often I'll see a small item in a junk shop and think.. hmm that could be used for something and I buy it just because I know I'll find a use for it, and inevitably do. Nice things I've paid proper money for include a repro Celt sword, Irish ruana wool wrap, bone handled live blade, and smatterings of silver and gemstone jewellery. But they're few and far between and have been collected over the years piece by piece when I've been moved to purchase them. It's nice to see more folk adopting a DIY approach to the Craft. I do personally loathe *most* of the plastic ("resin") witchy tut, though I do have a rather nice faux engraved ram skull. As for pound shops / dollar stores I still use them for craft materials (dolly pegs, yarn, jars etc.), I even have some cheesy but fun 'witchy' affirmation mugs got from such places.

I love dollar tree and thrift witchy videos. Dollar trees craft section has a lot of things you can use to diy stuff too. I made a tarot card holder out of 1 dollar tree wood item. The only thing I splurge on is crystals everything else I make or find at the thrift.

Thrift stores are a favorite for me -- and also a huge challenge. I love them because my particular flavor of neuridivergence loves certain styles that aren't often "on trend" and I also love things that are bit "broken in." But they are dangerous for me because I live in a tiny house with limited space and I'm trying to be very conscientious about adding "stuff." 😜

Oh thank you! It's been another crazy-busy 6 months or so. I filmed this video back in April -- and then got so swamped I didn't get it posted. So it is nice to be back at it!

Glad you liked it! I've got more plans that I think you'll enjoy, Debby! As for telling my age, I think I go in the other direction and tell anybody that gives me 10 seconds to slip it into a conversation. Lol. 🤣

Dollar Tree has some really good finds. I tend to flow through both the budget friendly and expensive. I generally go by a vibe or pull that I'm feeling. Thanks you so much for this video.
