ANYONE UNDER THE LEVEL: As the people below said but didn't quite make sense. Walk into the cave and run sraight to the other side and out to the mountain watch him walk to the back to where you ran from and quickly run to the chest and loot as fast as you can. It took me roughly around five or so times until it worked. When I did this it was 01/07/2015 or if your American 07/01/2015

It also works now May 28/2019 I'm only level 6 and was still able to fool the troll

My character was level 13, so i tried shooting at the ice troll with bolts for about 20 minutes. But then i seen that he would run back and fourth then sprint up towards the other exit/ entrance where the goats spawn to attack the goats. That's when I sprinted in to the chest. Swooped up the items then bolted out. The quest log says i defeated the troll but i went back and it was still there lol quest complete for now I suppose. Hope this helps someone😁

I would continue with the main quests, you’ll get there eventually and then you’re level is high enough as well☺️

I dont know how did I manage to get there since I kept on rolling until im able to climb where the goats are. Im lv7 with 4 un used points cuz dont know where to spend it to. And now im here to face troll which one hit im dead! What to do?

you're not a high enough level. you have to spend time in velen doing quests there to level up enough. the main quests will give you lots of experience points. and to spend your points go to your menu then go to character. you spend them there

98Firefly haha tnx. im now lvl 27 which I took down the wild hunt with much ease. Well in this cave I went back when I turned lv9 and found his pattern thats why im able to kill him. Sometimes I do Like challenges without choosing the deathmarch difficulty. :D

The fact that the master armorer is a woman really pisses me off, especially in todays climate. CD Projekt Red is full of talented people, but they're kind of fucked up in the head; they really enjoy pissing people off, and its REALLY pissing me off. It's like I've realized I'm being tricked and my brain just can't get over it. I brought my overall rating for Witcher 3 from a 9 to a 6 once I realized the political agenda behind this games story.
