For the Cat potion I'd advise to have White Honey stored in the inventory as well. Cat is very useful for cave exploration, but the moment you go outside and it's daytime the sun is so blinding you can barely see anything until Cat expires.

Btw rob, u can change the outfit some character like yennefer,tris,ciri,dandelion, & etc, in the main menu before start the game , go to gameplay settings , scroll to the bottom

Djinn attacked dandelion, Geralt took Dandelion to Yennefer to cure him. Yennefer tried to control djinn, djinn got pissed because of it and wanted to kill Yennefer. Geralt now knowing the djinn is under his control wishes to bind his and Yennefer fate. (Djinn are assholes and hold grudges but cannot attack their masters or previous masters) hence why Geralt made said wish. Super cliff notes version ^
