I dig the game, but it's not a 10/10 in my opinion. I just tried to fight one of those prick guards who talk shit and it wouldn't let me. It's an open world game, yet I can't even fight a guard. That's just one example. Edit: I found out a way to fight them. However, they're strong as fuck. Took one out, but the others ghosted me. You would have to be Godly to take out a group of 'em. Sucks.
@Pixelkvist9 жыл бұрын
Nelson Kawakami diretornak I went upstairs with Yennefer and then they went downstairs and we hung out all four of us. Then she went to bed and I got this entire scene too so going with her doesn't exclude this! :) You actually get more dialogue with Eskel and Lambert where they talk to Yennefer too

After playing thru The Witcher 3 doing all side quests/witcher contracts, It felt like parting with a long time best friend. I was so immersed in the world and attached to so many characters and moments like this Kaer Morhen level that when it was over I felt a huge specific void I was never able to fill since. I’ve played great games in other genres but I never felt so close to a fictional world as I had with Witcher 3. The last franchise that did this to me was Mass Effect. But even still. There was always something special about Witcher. I would just walk thru long stretches between points of interest. Circling the camera around Geralt to absirb the amazing attention to detail with the environment. The trees blowing in the wind. The vast mountain vistas. The huge seas and lakes. The endless swamps. The sprawling buildings in Novigrad and Oxenfurt. The subtle yet amazing ragdoll physics. The attention to detail. This is where some OK games never reach greatness. They may have a well thought out map and world but the execution is terrible. Take Sea of Thieves. Zero ragdolls. Pirates literally have ONE death animation. They don’t even float in the water at all. How can you create a pirate game with ZERO physics to make it immersive? I mean the attention to detail is what separates a well conceived game but boring one, from an amazing one and and immersive one. Developers post 2010 have no excuse to not have proper physics in their games. That should be a foremost given. It’s like having a sandwich without any bread. It should be that simple in today’s world. But still, developers try to get away with lazy af programming. Your game will die if you can’t be bothered to program proper physics in your game. Look at sea of thieves. It’s dead. Only children and completely tunnel visioned jaded ppl play it still. It’s 2022. For pete’s sake ppl. Nobody wants to play a game with infantile physics. It’s a freaking embarrassment.

Witcher was never that consistent in timeline, unfortunately... In the books it is said that sacking of Kaer Morhen happened "more than half a century before [Triss] was born" Now Triss is supposed to be so young, she doesn't yet have to use magic to keep her looks, but can probably agree she is definitely not a teenager... So I think youngest we can presume for her is like 23? And let's say sacking of Kaer Morhen was 51 years before her, so 74 years before the Blood of Evles... And given all those witchers have gone through the Trial of grasses, they all have to be like 80 at least during the first book
