I don't understand why the Scoia'tael deck does not have any tight bond cards. Being based off a guerrilla warfare style faction, and also being a faction of "misfits" and "outcasts" it really should include some. These Scoia'tael warriors would be bonded together well since they are subjects of discrimination.

I completely agree John. I think the Mahakaman Defenders should have been this decks tight bond group (5 x 5 point cards). Might have been OP, but without spies, it's not like you'd have a high chance into drawing into all 5 of them like you can with the NR deck's tight bond cards. Thanks for watching!

MrCodeslinger Thanks for making the content! You're right, those Mahakaman Defenders were specifically the cards i was thinking of, they could've reduced the card count to three or four even and given them tight bond. Or had a unique special cards tight bond between two of their special cards

For balance. Monster and Scoia'tael have muster and agile. Nilfgaardian and Northern Realm have tight bond and spy.

It’s more of a balance thing I think, northern realms and nilfgaardian decks have tight bonds, monster and the scoia’tael decks have a muster

This deck is confusing when you want to save the range cards for the later rounds,but you end up having a even amount of close combat and range in your hand and a horn.I think a more effective strategy would be to make this a mostly range card deck,and only keep the hybrid c/r cards in there so you can choose and still keep the deck range focused.I wouldn't recommend using this deck till you can get enough range cards.

Not sure if this is true, but I believe the flavour text on the Francesca Findabair (leader) 'Daisy of the Valley' and 'the Beautiful' are mixed up. The quote on each of them fits the other card's ability much better.

I use a 125 TUCS NR 26-card deck and I smoke every other NPC deck on hard no matter the other deck. I wish future updates/patches would include many more Gwent tourneys

MrCodeslinger Im going to have to start the game again coz there were many cards that i missed, also ive found the northern realms deck to be massively powerful when you have good cards mixed with spy cards and decoy or weather quite often its good night for the opponent.

The flavor text on the 2nd & 3rd leader cards are swapped, they must have patched that later on. When Francesca says "Don't let my beauty distract your aim", she's speaking to her archers, it doesn't make any sense on the other card.

Just a few tips on your videos :) Geralt, Ciri, Yennifer, Avallac'h, Dandelion and Villentretenmerth should be staple in any deck you build :) they should be the first things you include xD (Along with the relevant class Hero Cards)

+VoxCasterProductions Everyone builds there decks differently based on their own experiences, likes, dislikes, etc. Hence my disclaimer at the beginning. @voxcaster I would agree. Having the base medic and spy heroes and the two highest point heroes make the most sense. I can see situations where Vill wouldn’t be the most useful for example if you were playing against a Scoitael range focussed deck it might not work but yeah. I think Geralt, Ciri, Yen and Avallach make it into all my decks.

If you have the HoS expansion, do you have an opinion on the Gaunter O Dimm Darkness muster group? it's like the monster arachas group (3 x strength 4 muster cards) but for the ranged combat. I often include it in my scoia decks because of the scoia leader that goes nicely with that. I don't know what you think :) Nice video overall, in general I agree with you in that it is the most customizable deck of all, I've found a million tweaks I can do in that one xD

In the Scoia'tel deck, I think it is just as good as anything else. My only issue with it was, IIRC, that it wasn't a tight-bond muster group. That was what I would have really liked to have seen from this.

Hey! Just wanted to point out that you can get more decoy cards. I believe I have like 4 or 5 decoys in my deck, all bought from merchants.

+Diwik Mehra Yeah there is some weirdness going on after the latest patch. Someone was telling me that they had 14 decoys and 14 PFI's. That's never been possible before and I'm certain it is a bug.

My favorite deck is the Scoia'tael, it just have so many awesome cards and it's strong against every faction. Northern Realms is so overpowered Nilfgardian faction is just weak and has so many weaknesses without spies Monsters is cool and all but it depends on one line "Close combat" Skillege is way overpowered than even the northen realms. Scoiatel is just customizable as he said

@@sublimesense7761 the nifgaardian exclusive spy cards are shit. if i'm playing a spy heavy deck, why would i want shilard fitz-oesterlein (7), stefan skellen (9) and vattier de rideaux (4) when i can play with the northern realms' thaler (1), stennis (5) and dijkstra (4)? unless youre counting on your opponent playing your skellen right back at you, what benefit do those spies have?

No reason at all I can think of to play those 5 pt cards over the 10 point hero cards. With buffs they might be able to get to 11 or 12 but they are still weak to scorches or weather. Well i guess they can be revived as well. Still dont think its worth it.

Yes the faction perks are supposed to be used when playing the physical card game. But you can just ignore them as well. Being a card game and all you can choose your own rules. :)

Check the links in the video description. If you follow them all you will find all the cards you need for the card collector trophy. The Gwent "book" was something that got dropped in the game with their final major patch before the last DLC. The videos came out well before that ever happened, so they don't line up 1 to 1 as the book classifies certain card locations differently than I did. Move onto the Novigrad video links next and that will populate additional cards they classified as being Velen cards.

does anyone know how to determine if mediced agile units will go in the ranged or melee row?

Sorry for the late reply. mediced agile units go on the row in which they get the greatest value by default. If there is a biting frost, they go on the ranged row for example. If there is a commander's horn or morale boost (Isengrim - Milva), they go to that row. So a good way to determine that is to put down your commander's horn/morale boost cards before actually bringing the medics in, as a way to decide where the mediced agile units are going to go
