Witchfire - Battle Focus | Gameplay Mechanics explained

Battle Focus is when you gain stamina due to fighting enemies and not getting hit!
Once you fought well enough, your stamina bar turns yellow and the game will give you a tooltip that you reached battle focus.

How about the ability to dash and shoot the red orbs while in focus state. Is that to gain more witchfire, and is it worth it?

what do you mean? Aiming at an enemy, dashing and then shooting the red "orb" that pops up next to the enemy? If so: this is a stagger effect. if you shoot him, it's a crit and you stun the enemy. pretty dope imho.
