This is hands down one of the most unusual and delightful breakfast spreads I have ever seen! And you use Chick Pea Flour as a shampoo? Oh I HAVE to try that!!!

By far not our every day breakfast but once or twice in may elderflower fritters are a family tradition :)

You have become part of my morning routine. I do the necessary such as putting the dogs out then I have learned from you to slow down while making my coffee instead of being in a hurry. I then sit down and watch your videos which so help me connect to the world around me. I find my days so much better; I look forward to so much more. I even approach housework with a different attitude. Thank you.

Sighhhhh 😊. Your channel is fast becoming one of my happy places!! I loved this! It was like getting to visit you for a day! The mist on the water is definitely a favourite ‘space’ for me. There is so much magick that can be worked in fog and mist. I actually ’aweeeed’ out load when I saw the little duckies!!! 🤗 I remember seeing you walk through the water previously but didn’t realize these were actual healing stations! I love that! Your shampoo definitely has Ayurvedic feels 😃🙏🏽. I dream of having my own piece of earth one day! Elder and Blackthorn are must haves for me. You are truly blessed to have access to fresh flowers!! I saw someone on KZbin a few years back make pancakes with them but these look delicious! I would spinkle with icing sugar and serve with a hot Elderflower syrup 😉. It does give me a possible idea for my dried flowers 🤔🤔🤔 will have to experiment and let you know! I think when I am having a bad day I will need to come back and visit! Have a great weekend Bex! And I hope your full moon was magickal 🙏🏽🤗🥰

Oh that's such a lovely thing of you to say 💚 I am glad you are enjoying the videos! I actually just moved to the countryside a couple of months back. Before that I mostly lived in big European capitals, usually in a tiny flat downtown haha so yes, finnaly being able to just go out, grow and harvest what you need is truly amazing 🌱 curious what you will come up with with your dried elder 😊 I see you have your new video up, so I will immediately go and watch that now 😍

The witches' cookery i usually just do infusions with the dried botanicals and then use them in baking or drinks. I actually have to strain the elder and honeysuckle honey i am using for the Summer Solstice honey cake! 😃 i am thinking of making crepes tomorrow and am thinking instead of straining the flowers out of the milk, keeping some in??! Will experience and if it works, will definitely share!!

Oh my stars! You mentioned Hulda! She is my matron goddess. Nobody ever talks about her. Lovely video.
@Thewitchescookery4 жыл бұрын
I think she is the only goddess I ever mentioned in any of my videos so far hahah what a coincidence! Here she lives on in all folk tales (especially as Frau Holle), that's why a lot of Germans know of her ☺️

I have been watching your videos all evening. !! You certainly are quite competent in everything kitchen related. It's so interesting to see how you incorporate Magick into every aspect of your life. You're a really good role model for young and old alike..💜🕯💜

My paternal grandmother used to make a compote of rhubarb, strawberries and applesauce (with some sugar)....she didn't use as much sugar as you'd use in Jam or Jelly, and she'd cook the rhubarb, then mix in the strawberries (raw) and sugar...and then in the applesauce. Made a wonderful thing to put on buttered toast, but still have the fresh flavor instead of all the stickiness. :) I loved that mixture... and still do, when I can make it. :) Your channel is lovely! :)

Thank you so much 💚 as far as I know the usage of chickpea or lentil flour for haircare stems from India. can definitely recommend it, as it's nice to the environment and very nice to the hair 😊 let me know how you like it, if you try it 💚

When I was in Germany the second time, my friends took me on a hike and encouraged me to walk through on of those water basins! It was one of the coolest things I had ever seen out in the woods! Unfortunately for me the water was nearly up to my thighs and FREEZING! Still a nice experience though!
@Thewitchescookery4 жыл бұрын
Amazing that you got to do that! I love them - especially the ones in the mountains after a long hard hike :D The natural water is most of the times rrrreally cold but that is great for circulation and helps prevent cellulite haha

As someone who hates to cook (I do love to eat though haha), may I ask, do you eat something light first thing in the morning before you make a “real” breakfast? I start shaking and feel like I’m about to have an anxiety attack if I start my day (walking around, taking care of the pets and kiddos etc) without eating first.
