The cutoff starts there from 98% and she had got only 95% ( which is scored by more than 75000 students in India and the seats are very limited in the top notch colleges of India) so obviously admission process Is difficult for this score.

Colleges like SRCC, Stephens have great reputation in USA colleges. And when he applied to Google he was a graduate of Stanford & Wharton and had work experience with McKinsey. Probably he might have even not written IIT in his resume (1 page resume) difficult to write all 3 education degree with work ex.
