One way to keep the ground from doing is if you toggle free mode before placing the building also best to try and find the most flat land you can so the building also doesn’t float

Noticed you found your Bee Hives. If you go back to your construction menu and under animals. One of the sections is bees just like chickens or cows. In there you can buy more bee hives but there is also a place able for the honey pallets. You can put it any where on your farm but you can have only one. It does not have to be next to your hives.

I don't think that was eggsactly what you intended to do 🤣 Landscaping is still such a challenge in this game and lack of undo is a nightmare. You guys probably aren't planning to add mods yet, but there are 2 which I highly recommend for beginners and I use them myself because the interface for placing buildings is so clunky: "Full Refund" and "Free Terraform and Paint". Lots of people also recommend "Paint and terraform anywhere" but I prefer just to use the in-game free placement option - either way you can affect other buildings so need to be careful. There is also a "perfect edge" mod which helps painting textures in straight lines to tidy up around a build but it is far from essential. You are constrained by the server more than a singleplayer - I actually tend to play without autosave so that I can save before landscaping and roll back if it goes horribly wrong. It is generally easier to level the land before placing the building, I usually hover the building over to sight the area, then back out and do some landscaping iteratively until I am happy enough to place the building. The mods can't roll back landscaping, only saving and rolling back can help with that. If you have time, maybe start a new save game and practise with the landscaping tools - the way they work is not at all intuitive! Keep having fun with this!

Nope haha I definitely borked it! 😂 Yeah servers do make it a tad more pain-in-the-butt-ish lol but it's how we can play together better so we'll have to make do. Hopefully it's something they fix at some point. I didn't expect to nearly fall through the world trying to run up the hill. Mods are something we may eventually try but for right now we're sticking to what's here. If we do decide to go for mods I'll suggest these though, thank you.

Each mature chicken will consume 5 liters of grain per month and produce 5 liters of eggs per month. I don't know about the young ones.

As somebody with thousands of hours in the previous games and over 300 already in FS25 I’ve made the same mistake more times than I can count, it’s gotta be maybe a minimum of 90% of the FS community who’ve mistakenly placed something the wrong way or place. Now.. It’s only a matter of time until it’s Phlinger’s turn lol

I have a lot of hours in Planet Zoo and still bork up the placement of things on there as well haha at least on Planet Zoo there is an undo button. I make mistakes all the time haha and I'm sure Phlinger will get there soon as well

Well you screwed that up didn't you. If you do this again, go out the then come back in. If the game hasn't saved the chicken coopwon't be there. If it is too late then go into your saved games fileand load the game save before.They're all dated and numbered.

Yeah, mistakes were made but Phlinger managed to roll back the server to just before I did it so it was all good
