MTA needs to “reduce the administration’s’ salaries” to fund ALL of their projects!

They saw the polls and decided not to bring in the tolls

the mta has the money they just WANT more. how done they had the money to put up these tax gantries but don't have the money to fix anything?

Nyc ALWAYS had traffic. Deal with it! If MTA needs money raise mta tickets. Stop robbing Peter to pay Paul

"We've always dealt with this problem that negatively affects our city so why should we try and change it?"

Why is it that the majority of the tolls and taxes (which is what they are) for the MTA is charged to people who never use the MTA? Let’s think about this for a min. If you are a real estate owner and you need a pipe fixed or an electrician to run some new wires or your elevator fixed and you are located on 59th st, you will have a hell of a time finding a company that will decide to loose 24 dollars to take the job. The small businesses, health care workers, police, fireman, deli workers and so on were the ones that were going to suffer most under this plan. None of them are going to start taking the train or a bus to work. The commuters from the suburbs are the life blood of midtown yet we are treated as an endless money source. maybe you need to look at the MTA and their over time policy or look at the reason why some TO make over 200K by taking extra shifts. Just a thought

Postponed indefinitely? More like postponed until after the election.

Why did they wait 100 years to upgrade signals. All the goverment grants and bailout and they still cry broke.

the uber was gonna be pricey into the city... in europe uber costs you literally an eye... way more expensive
@Gs2k15Ай бұрын
Nah they should allow congestion pricing but make taking the train and bus free

Audit the MTA. Its a huge money pit and no one seems to care..

The federal government should foot the 1.1 billion dollar bill for the MTA.

No, it is the mayor's job to fund the subway system. It's long overdue. The governors can't do everything to fund the MTA.
@real100talk5Ай бұрын
No. Why should the rest of the US pay for NYC's waste?

@@real100talk5 Because it's just paper, money is just paper, they can just print infinite amount.

"if it doesn't move forward, we are going to be passing our problem to our kids and our grandkids" I'm sure if it moves forward by the time i have kids who drive the toll is gonna be $45 per car. Find other ways to fund the projects like you have in the past. Im not fully against congestion pricing, i'm against these ridiculous tolls prices.

I was laughing at her comment due to the fact she'll be the same one to say everything is too expensive
