Lawmakers were unable to reach an agreement on MTA funding last week after Hochul announced a pause on the congestion pricing plan. Republican congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis who represents Staten Island and parts of Brooklyn reacts.

Audit the MTA....

So True! MTA is always in financial problems. It's a combination of mismanagement, greed, and grift. Jana Lieber makes 400k, which is more than the president. Overtime in the MTA is ridiculous, where people are making hundreds of thousands per year in overtime, alone, on top of their already six figure salary.(You can do a simple search on-line and find) Meanwhile, turnstile jump costs the city over 700million. The MTA can not be trusted regarding their expenses. They should be audited on the regular. Back in about 2003, they were caught "cooking the books" which was in every news paper in NYC. They inflated their debt to perpetuate the lie that revenue was needed, so they could justify raising the fare. You can find those articles with a simple on-line search. They submitted fraudulent financial documents with the intent to deceive the government and the public, an audit discovered it, ..and no one was prosecuted. Many CEO's in the private sector have been prosecuted and convicted for doing the same thing.

I want anyone pay less for fuel all year round for good. Think about a new Cadillac Escalade V Supercharge v8 lt4 Engine and keep running with low premium fuel cost not high cost.

Can anybody do a story on the traffic gridlock Yankee Stadium brings to the community during baseball season Why does the city have the police close down the roads around the stadium , why are the baseball fans allowed to drive into our community and take up all the parking and park illegally in fire pumps and no parking zones , why are these outsiders allowed to blow cars horns all evening long , where is the police and traffic department to direct traffic and issue summonses , why is this being allowed who is being paid off , where is the community board and politicians , we get your Election literature in our mailbox then you abandon us and this poor community is forced to suffer.

First the MTA needs to stop using so many outside contractors that’s what’s eating all of the money. However I am sure multiple people are getting a kick back on that. Next I was with this lady until she said Republicans have no accountability in this matter. They could have made a pathway when they controlled the house but didn’t and anyone that takes 0 accountability will always be suspicious to me. Democrats aren’t the best but we also remember she has skeletons in her closet from when she was running for her position. The guy she went against was just a bit more shady.
