I modified the 3-525 to operate with DCC and sound. I used lok-pilot function decoder for both cab ends, and LokSound V5fo the motor unit. It was tricky at first, but made things work well. I don't have a layout to test on, but someday will. Thank you for all the inspirations!

Thank you for watching ♪ DCC is attractive because it allows detailed control.I respect that you are challenging yourself to have a high level of control. I will continue to create layouts at my own pace.

I love that there seems to be a slow but growing movement to get more Japanese HO models to the consumers from the manifacturers! Although I will probably build N-scale at home I would love to run more Japanese HO-trains on my club's modular railroad and at conventions all around Europe to get more people to see the beauty of Japanese trains!

But don't forget that Japanese H0 trains are normally 1:80! Actual 1:87 scale Japanese trains, i.e. models of their normal network, should run on H0m (meter gauge).......
Awesome video. I love how it is very clear that you love trains despite the language barrier. I love the sound that is made while the trains are moving along the tracks. Is there there a specific reason why you chose to use rubber instead of cork?
