I agree with you when you said about what content works better, but I would say do not do simple beginner tutorials, there are 49573738 other channels doing so. I would recommend trying more intermediate or advance content but explaining it in a simple way or for dummies like me. You can even add a lot of humor, always welcomed. Because I think there is no channel explaining advance topics without making it serious, with super complex explanations and also without many examples. Cheers, your content is good.

Thanks! Appreciate your feedback! I am already working on the next video about a custom event system, so I am looking forward for your feedback on that :D

@@this-is-gamedev I cannot wait to see the next video!! I was thinking about my message and I wanted to add another sugestion, just in case you find it interesting. And it would be to add small challenges at the end of the videos about the topic you are explaining. For example if your next topic is events, add a little exercise for us to do. Something simple like: Players takes a key and a door is opened. With this kind of exercises and maybe creating a discord server you could build a community of learners who will be "loyal" to your channel hehe. New learners always find it easier to learn with exercises, and sometimes the "learn making small games" is not enough, it is very open the sugestion. But if you tell me do this, with certain restrictions it will be easier for me to do. And also I could share my problems with the comunity. Rather than doing something relatively complex alone.

@@this-is-gamedev A) Challenges are the way - I don't understand why more people aren't doing them. Learning is good for us, and cliffhangers are good for you. B) Please consider making some dumbed down videos like this. The visuals you use & your approach have helped me bridge the gaps that many other beginner channels leave out.

Noted! Yes, I am definitely continuing this kind of videos. Gonna restart after the release of my game. Challenges are a time commitment, that’s probably why not many do it. Soon 2023, let’s see what we can do :D
