Love the size of the crown. Many forget that having the ability to roll your finger above a crown to wind on a mechanical is a huge win!

One brand that already does pulsometer watches for medical professionals is Aristo. The seconds "hand" has four pointers spaced 15 seconds apart to get a quick read without digging out a phone you might not have on you while on the floor.

I love these. We need more AliExpress pulsometers, and this is something Ive wanted for a long time. Does it have a telemeter as well?. I think it's a useful function for sure.

@@vyanchev9639 itay not he a direct homage to anything, for instance the omega has the same hands and applied numerals, the one you referenced misses the hands but get other aspects right. Who knows if this is a direct homage or not 🤷. I don't care either way....imma get it 😂

Ive owned 3 st1901 watches. 2 of which ive had issues with in a very short time. Luckily the movements are cheap to replace.

I love it Gary! I’ve got a Dan Henry 1939 which gives similar vibes & is a fantastic watch! The strap on the Proxima isn’t aesthetically compatible or colour matched. The leather Vario looked 100% better. 👍🏼

Think i have more real life chances to use a pulsometer, rather a(n almost...) useless imo, tachymeter. Plus this looks way "classier" than most of them. As for the watch, love the black Bregeut/Longines numerals, but the dial colour is bit too yellow. Pity... PS Dial looks like a Tissot telemeter watch that they (re)released some years ago

Have to say, I like the dial, very vintage looking, possibly just a shade paler but that's nitpicking. It's a very interesting watch to look at, not being a photocopy is a big plus. I'd probably put a nice leather strap on it. 100m water resistance too. The font is exactly the same as on my great granddads 1938 Swiss pocket watch .

Cool watch, very nice looking, with interesting and more rare chronometer functionalities. I have a pulsometer function on my Vario 1918 Medic, and I made a point of being sure to use it a few times, but both this method with 'pulsometer on request' due to the chrono function, or the Mancheront with the graduations on a rotating bezel make for a much more convenient (and thus useful) format than the "wait until the second hand comes around again" of the Vario. Not that I'm knocking the Vario it's an amazing watch, and I love it, and I love that it has a pulsometer on it, and I *want* the pulsometer on it, I just didn't buy it to USE the pulsometer on it. I think I'll add this Proxima to my list of chronographs I'm watching, but I don't know that it'll beat out other ST19 based ones already on there. We'll see!

I mod watches and the nicest cases to mod are R Ex/Sub. Think of the 15 modded watches I have 3 aren't in R type cases. It wasn't a dig at you in anyway mate. I have some fun crackers of watches but wish I had more non R case options is all. Cheers

Very nice watch for $200. Capped hands are a very nice touch. The dial looks a bit yellow on my phone. Is it really? I found it a bit off. Online it looks creamer. It needs a proper strap through. I have that exact Coloreb strap.

I prefer the script of the numbers on this one compared to the Omega, more legible and stylish. The nato like strap doesn't go with the watch. It's begging for a nice, brown leather Horween strap.

Nice not to see the unicorn, have seen some nice stuff from Proxima but the Unicorn is as effective as an Octopus as preventing a sale (even my granddaughters are growing out of the Unicorn phase).
