I have been waiting for Mohandas Pai to talk about this controversy. This controversy is the most unnecessary n unfortunate. Being a proud donor of Akshaya Patra for years i stand by the good efforts of this foundation. Each time I see a AP van hurrying towards it's destination, i feel like a mother hurrying to feed her children. Respect n kudos to the team, please keep up the gud work.

in iskon temple, food was delicious, service by Akshayapatra no one on earth can do that, our company used to donate regular basis,iyerji,mohandasji, my request is please avoid simple carbohydrates, use complex carbohydrate that has fibre in the diet,pgurus doing amazing service by spreading knowledge, Thankyou

Very good idea. Yes, they started this in a small way in Pune Iskcon. Recently, Dr. Khadarvali's close associate went to Pune Iskcon and trained them on how to process the millets. Dr.Khadarvali is a millets man of recent times propogating millets in place of rice. Pune temple want to prepare their daily Prasadams using mullets and serve. This is the first step and they want to do this slowly across their all temples in India. Making millet meal as mid day meal may take more time as presently the millets crop cultivation is quite low and hence the millets are costly as of now. So things have to change slowly one at a time.

That's why, yesteryears brahmins were not using both these at all. Now, they do eat because of change in our cultures and more accentuated by gobi manchoori. PS: I also visited the kitchen of Akshayapatra in Brindavan UP. I was awestruck by the whole system of preparation of food. Utmost precaution is taken for cleaning the wheat, rice and vegetables. There was a reign of cleanliness all around. The entire was devoted to their job. Moreover the staff is paid more than market rate besides free meals for them. In opinion the Akshayapatra food is healthier and more tasty than home made food. May Paramatma bless them with everything.

Listening to Mohandas Ji, now I get why the controversy around Akshay Patra? They feed millions of poor kids in remote places of India which are the hunting ground of Evangelist soul harvester. If a Hindu organisation supports meal programme for poor kids, how will the Evangelist brain was the parents of these kids to convert to Xtianity. Whydoes Mr Pai charge Rs 10 lakhs as fees in the Universities he organized with massive loans from public sector banks? . Why is it impossible for him to charge like the normal state run universities? Why does he support rajib Mal, who is justifying sati, Caste Syatem and even the Thugis?
