neither is man without a woman nor woman without a man, the Father is male and we know he would have a companion

The very idea of a body is incompatible with an atemporal afterlife. Everything in our bodies is made for a temporal existence. Our muscles and bones are made to move around and manipulate things. Our internal organs are there to move everything from chemicals to live cells around and make chemical reactions happen. The one thing that might be close to atemporal is our perception of art, but even that is firmly set in our temporal perception through our senses. Having a body in any kind of atemporal place, no matter whether it is six and a half feet tall, with blond natural hair, blue eyes, and a shape to die for, is just dead meat. If there is a god, any god, he must have mentioned our bodies after death only in a metaphorical sense, or as an analogy.

I really cannot understand why an academic and bible scholar as she calls herself would have overlooked that saying that Jesus gave to the Saducees that in heaven they are neither male nor female but are 'as the angels in heaven'. For a better understanding of the probable afterlife or 'spiritual body' that is found in the writing of Dale Martin, former professor at Yale, now I believe retired.
