I Can't wait to see how those shawls come out...The yarn you bought looks so beautiful ... sorry you lost your job but I am sure you will find something even better....I like the idea of you taking the teacher job because not only do I think you were and will be a great teacher, but you will have more time off especially because you have the two boys to look after now. I've really enjoyed spending part of my Sunday morning with you Erica. I'm not surprised you spent 3 hours in that beautiful yarn store - it looked a real Aladdin's cave. I'm knitting at the moment with the Rowan Felted Tweed that you bought - making Martin Storey's Midwinter Blanket squares. The Lunae shawl pattern looks fabulous and I love the colours you've chosen. Looking forward to seeing you working on it. Your hair looked quite a bit darker - is that closer to your natural colour? Hope you can manage to take the next couple of months or so in your stride, because stress can take quite a toll on physical health. omg i have that exact same mug (except with an A)! my sister bought it for me from anthropologie when she had a work trip to the US a number of years ago. a few years later I found the same mugs in a homewears shop here in Australia but they only had a few letters left. luckily they had her first initial so I bought it for her for Christmas, it was meant to be. we are identical twins. i love the natasja hornby patterns you talked about. I've wanted to knit something of hers for ages but haven't gotten around to it yet.
