Since tomorrow is Tuesday and it's the 12th I'm just gonna say it here: Happy 1 Year Anniversary to Sarah with a H and Erika with a K playing Kingdom Hearts! I've been with Sarah in not knowing what Kingdom Hearts was until you guys started filming your play through, and I can proudly say that I love watching you guys play this game. Thank you for introducing me to the story of this interesting world, and hope you guys play even more games together!

I really loved Pride Rock as a level and how they expanded on Simba’s characters and struggles with restoring his Kingdom to its former glory. I really think Simba is one of my favorite Disney characters, as a reckless kid who has to live with his father’s death that technically his fault, fighting his uncle and later struggles with being a family man.

I do think these second visits are rarely groundbreaking for the plot (besides when we fight the Organization members) but i will grant them it is fun for the group to check up on the world after the movie events.

When you mentioned Super Mario Sunshine, it reminded me that the Mecha-Bowser fight has jazzy music as an homage to the soundtrack of the 1974 Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla.

All the heartless that were at the top of Pride Rock were removed in the Final Mix. I believe they removed it because it was a popular place to level up to 99

Not only that, those Heartless now drop HP orbs instead of MP orbs. Taking a tour of the whole final world after someone partially destroys the moon, Final Form with Gullwing & EXP Boost equipped is the best way in Final Mix.

I feel you on the competitive-side Erika. My little sister hated to play anything with me because of how competitive I was growing up. I couldn’t even teach her how to play cause I would always get super frustrated “like come on! It’s not that hard! Hit this button, hold this down, and move the joystick this way!” My dad was my video game buddy, but he was never easy on me when it came to things. He’d show me once, maybe twice, and if I didn’t get it, oh well 😂 so I was very much the same way. I do think I’m better about it now, and have more patience, but I still am competitive when it comes to things. I don’t have to replay if I lose, but I do get annoyed and if I have the time, grind out the game to get better at it for the next time so I can destroy the person that beat me 😂
