She could leave at any time. The many spired ruined citadel was not want for corridors and portals allowing passage out. But then she would be giving herself to the endless dusty wastes surrounding the structure for as far as could be seen. It had only been a few days prior her companion tried leaving and she watched as he left, noticing that the further he progressed from their crumbling shelter that he slowed his steps, as if coming under some increasing weight, and then finally collapsing. She watched as his body turned to bones over the next few days and then those bones become part of the dust, leaving no trace he ever existed. Whatever decaying properties of the outside were mostly, but not completely reduced, inside the strange castle they had come to find themselves in. There was food to eat; strange bitter fruits growing on stranger vines clinging to the walls. Pools of gray silty water offered drink, and also reflection. She could see herself aging unnaturally quickly in those reflections. A day was like a month. Every few weeks, a year. Her hair was already graying, no longer young as she remembered. Lines appearing on her skin, wrinkles, even her bones began to feel all too brittle and gentle, and had her walking carefully as to not fall and risk a break. She was dying, dying to natural causes, much faster than what should be, but all too slow at the same time. All she could do is wait, dreading her reflection in the pool she drank from every time she bent over to sip from it. She wanted to run out into the dust to join her friend in death but stopped at the threshold every attempt, some burning and yearning desire to just live still pulling her back inside that crooked construction of spires and walls. Craving both youth as she once was, and death, simultaneously, her mind finally went before her body. Laying down the final time, the thin frail frame of what had been human, doomed to wreckage and longing forever.

I saw her reflection, as though it were mine, while the days blended together in a whirlwind of fear and madness. Got my heart pumpin, tell ya that much, thank God for Earth.

Actually it would be the opposite In all Abrahamic texts God is mentioned to be All-Powerful and All-Knowing (Omniscient and omnipresent) So that makes him already stronger than the Old ones and the only ones that could match him are the Outer Gods but even then they are trapped in another world. None them are all powerful. But some are Omniscient like Yog-Sothoth. The only one that could match that power is Azathoth but even he is flawed since everything is dream. For God it is all more than a dream. he wake and sleep. Making this all dream and reality at the same time. He is depicted as being flawless so these boundaries that Lovecraft's gods have he doesn't have. EDIT: Also doubt God could be bested by a boat like Cthulhu
