hello, if you are still monitoring this channel, can you please create a video on how to change your allowances in 2020 or better yet 2021. I used to change my allowance every year as I was able to calculate how much tax needed to be withheld. However, it seems as if the IRS did away with the ability of having your employer change your allowances. Is there a way of doing this still? I appreciate any help you can give. I just saw your video today.

... just go outside to the corner and you can see a fraction of what your taxes pay for. Now imagine all the military equipment and weapons etc. now imagine all the grants and all the funds for our citizens. Everything around you, including all the businesses, is directly or indirectly funded by your taxes, and my taxes and your neighbors taxes. Quit complaining!

If a new employee started on a new pay period like a Tuesday at the end of the month (27, 28, 29, etc) and they have a week in a whole how would that work? Would they get paid in full on the 18th of the next month since they get paid weekly on every Tuesday?

is it better to claim "0" than 1 or 2 on W4?
@slickwilly68685 жыл бұрын
Bullshit because claiming 0 dependents will result in your paycheck being taxed more. I claim myself that way I see a little more on my weekly check. I could care less about my tax refund being less.

Thank you for this tutorial, it was amazing. I watched three time, in order for me to understand thoroughly, however; I have a couple of question, what what kind of taxes are these. I am a little confuse, I work as a payroll clerk, I just started I don't have a lot of experience, but when I do the weekly pay deposit to the IRS and EDD. I deposit four amounts to the EDD. The IU, the ETT, the Disability Insurance and the PIT or withholding. Can you help me to figure out the State PIT, please? thank you

Rick O'Shea, the only employee of Hunter Furniture Company, makes $31,200 per year and is paid once a month. For the month of July, his federal income taxes withheld are $190, state income taxes withheld are $38, social security tax is 6.2%, Medicare tax is 1.45%, State Unemployment Tax is 5.4%, and Federal Unemployment tax is 0.8%. What is Rick's net pay for July? Does anybody knows the answer?

Just keep making it more difficult to do work in this State for small businesses. I'm so frustrated dealing with the thief's of NY State Government. How many BS departments do you have to create to penalize people try to do better for themselves and start their own business. Simplify this crap, my business is not making money doing paperwork for the state yet I have to spend so much time dealing with the bureaucracy of the empire state!! I've been in the construction Business since 1997 and have do business in a bunch of different state but each year it gets worse and worse doing business in the state of NY.
