Fun fact: Sharon and Robert (the one who did growls) are couple for more than 20 years, they have 3 children together :) I suggest you to check some of their newest songs, like Supernova, The Reckoning or Raise your banner to see how much they evolved, and some of their classics like Our Solemn Hour (live from Black Symphony) or Stand my Ground :)

Mother Earth would have been a better introduction to this band. While not my favorite song, I think it's the one that captures the feel of the band perfectly. They only did the growls in their first record, which I hated at the beginning. Now I love it though. They're probably the second most famous symphonic metal band after Nightwish.

The Male growls and female clear operic Style was typical for Gothic Metal in this years, now they called it Symphonic Metal.

This song is too extreme for me, however the Faster song is pretty good. Watch "The Greatest Show On Earth" - Isle of Man 2014. The motorcycle race with the song Faster is awesome.

This is actually one of their oldest songs from their first EP. The music played here is called gothic metal but they are better known for their symphonic metal style later on. Yeah😅... Perhaps not the best song to start with... If you are new to the band I mean😂.. I would start with "Shot in the dark" or "What have you done" or "The reckoning" for example🤘
