Ever wondered what vintage UK prison drama 'Within These Walls' would be like if it featured incidental music - and particularly the same incidental music as vintage Australian prison drama 'Prisoner Cell Block H'?! Well, wonder no longer…
It’s time for tea at Stone Park Prison, in this scene from the Series 2 episode ‘Skivers’. And it’s a hive of activity in the North Wing canteen, with all the inmates - Thelma, Georgie, Lizzie, Judy and the others - going about just another part of the daily humdrum of prison life. But all is not well and it’s about to be a certain prisoner’s final mealtime…
With 'PCBH' library music added for effect (tracks: ‘Regression’ and ‘Film Clips (f)’, both by Dennis Farnon, with the former track from the KPM Music LP 'Fear of the Dark’ and the latter from the KPM Music LP 'Organ Music/ Links & Bridges').
Scene features (in rough order of first appearance) Diana Rayworth (as Officer Pat Berryman); Ella Milne (as Lizzie Bromborough); Christina Greatrex (as Thelma Baker); Elaine Wells (as Officer Meg Spencer); Shirley Cheriton (as Judy Fryer); and Betty Romaine (as Georgie Weekes).
