Hey that's a really good review. I was thinking about upgrading from my 5 year old FitBit Aria, and... - what I hear from you is pretty much what I have now. You saved me money, PLUS did good for the environment, as I'm hanging on to my smartscale longer. Thanks!
@xloweric4 жыл бұрын
Hi. Did you upgrade? I am asking because I JUST started using the Body+ scale from original Aria. The Body+ is weighing .5-1 lb less than the Aria, consistenly. Also, the Aria almost always was consistent in it's weight, but the Body+ seems to provide a different weight depending on where you happen to stand. Also, the Body+ requires perfect foot placement to read body fat, the Aria almost never missed on the body fat measurement.

@@xloweric My Aria died, when I cleaned it by rinsing it with water from the shower (don't do that!) I replaced it with the Body+. I had a slight jump in my body fat, but so far the Body+ is performing very well. What I don't like about the Body+ is that I have to link the Withings account with the FitBit account (coming from FitBit), and... somehow... after 8 months or so the Synch didn't work anymore and I just don't want to figure it out again. But I use it pretty much every day in the morning to keep track of my data. I would recommend it, because it looks 3% better than the FitBit Aria. ;-) ;-)

That was an amazing and thorough review of this product. I see this particular scale show up on many top 5 and top 10 lists, and pretty consistently towards the top, if not number 1! Your video was very helpful in learning more about it! Thank you!

Hey, Shannon! We have a Eufy Smart Scale (purchased for about $40) earlier this year. So far, so good. It does all of the basic measurements that a smart scale can do, but there are no advanced settings. What really helps me stay healthy, though, is my Fitbit. I've been using a Flex 2 for the past couple of years, but I will be upgrading soon. You can track steps, exercise, weight (it links to my Smart Scale), and sleep all with the Fitbit/Fitbit app. I have also recently started tracking my food right in the Fitbit app which is helpful because it will show you calories in vs. estimated calories out, as well as macros. There is also "Female Health" tracking, as well the ability to set silent alarms. Honestly, I don't know what I would do without my Fitbit. I highly recommend it, but I can't comment on the newer models.

I like mine, made me realise I fluctuate pretty regularly. I have the Withings watch too which is great. A very basic smartwatch but it does notifications and lasts for 20+ days being smart then another 20+ days as a normal watch. Plus is looks like a classic watch which is more my style.

I've been using the Fitbit Aria 2 scale. I track my food in cronometer, and it connects to my fitbit account for food tracking/exercise. This scale looks like it is probably better then the fitbit scale.

Great review. Don't think it persuades me to get a smart scale, but I use my dumb scale daily. I've since started visiting my brothers family (once a month) up in Philly where I eat a lot more then I do at home. I always gain 5 pounds up there, then lose it when I come back and on my normal eating habits. It's fun to see what I gain daily, and luckily my weight fluctuates pretty easy back and forth without working out. Keep the tech reviews coming!

Yup. That's exactly why I did it. I don't consent to creepers publishing nonconsentual feet photos for fetishes. I'm more comfortable posting my weight than body photos.

I use the Fitbit Aria 2 scale as well, I find I have a lot of fluctuation in weight from day to day, even though I weigh myself right before my shower every morning I am not on vacation. I will not even say how much I gained after my last trip to San Francisco and eating at Morton's and Fisherman's wharf.

The standard rule for a correct body weighing is in the morning, before breakfast/fluids intake and with empty bowels.

I learned about all the things this wonderful scale will do; however, I don't know how to sync - it flashes "error". It is showing KG instead of lbs and I don't know how to change it. I didn't get much help in setting it up.

Just came across your video, thinking of purchasing this product. 1 question, what if a friend comes over and they jump on the scale. Do they have to register an account to in order to check they're weight? Figure the screen on the scale would satisfy them with they're info instead of downloading and app and registering.

It’ll recognize that they’re a different person and just read off their data. You won’t have to register them

How does it know which person is stepping on the scale with both you and your husband using it?

@ShannonMorse4 жыл бұрын
"wireless" means "connected" as in wifi. It does not refer to how the scale is being powered.
