I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you! You are an amazing woman, mother, and wife. I have been watching you for a very long time now and I have learned a lot from you. I am from a very small town and I married a Muslim man almost 5 years ago. I did convert and felt a huge weight off of my shoulders. However I have also struggled very much. I have been shunned by my family, and ridiculed by everyone in my town. I have struggled very much with wanting to wear hijab. I am extremely scared of what hate I could experience. I have recently started to try and build a wardrobe that is appropriate to wear hijab (that hasn’t been very easy either). I don’t want to put on hijab for a day and then be someone else the next. I want to wear hijab because I know in my heart, it is what is right for me. I have the support of my amazing husband which should be all that I need. I love your videos Leena. And want you to know that you are giving me strength everyday that I never thought I had. I even enjoy when you show how vulnerable you can be with your husband. I see you admit faults and share such personal things, and I want you to know that it doesn’t go unappreciated. Your human and it’s nice to see you show real things in your life. Hi Leena, I just wanted to say I know weaning can be such an emotional journey and incredibly physically exhausting. It's up to you whether you want to take it slow or do it cold turkey, just do whatever you think is best for you and your sweet pea. I started weaning my daughter at 18 months and just took away one feed every week until we were ready to night wean, which took 3 days. At the time everyone was telling me to just do it cold turkey, but I knew that wasn't the way I wanted to wean my daughter. One tip I would give is to feed your daughter heavy meals, so that you know she is well fed and doesn't need your milk to feel full. That way you won't feel that guilty about taking away the milk.

Oh my God I went emotional when you spoke about weaning Alaina. Take your time because it’s such a bounding time and I miss it with my 3 year old. I tried my best even when my milk supply was getting down , and felt even guilty. But all benefits when letting the baby lead

When it comes to weaning, take your time, make sure to have emotional support around. I remember with my kids, it was hard on the baby and myself, especially when they would cry to want to feed, but definitely having family around to distract and to help you to not give in when you've made progress counts! Weaning is very emotional, no one really tells you how emotional it can be. It took me awhile to get over it with my daughter . She’s 17 months now. Also, I love how you and your sisters do affirmations with Alaina. I do them with my daughter and she gets so excited and claps when I finish. It’s important to instill confidence because I struggle with my confidence. As a mother , you don’t want your daughter to have the same struggles as you do/did.

A tip for flipping your cake - leave it in the bundt pan and put the cake stand upside down on top of the pan and then flip them over while holding the pan onto the cake stand. Love your vlogs! Looks great :)
