A tip, if you throw someone that is out of stamina, don't switch guard on the first heavy (it's 24 even on top). So the right punish is: heavy (without switching guard), second top heavy, and top light. It's all confirmed if you do that

@theScanlite if your guard is side then yes. It's mandatory not switching guard on the first heavy, so whatever is the direction, you heavy as soon as you throw (doesn't matter even because every lb's heavy opener it's24). Next step is chain top heavy (deals more damage in chain), and finisher top light.

I heard lawbringer can be a top duelist in the right hands. Even if it seems impossible to beat your opponent you can still pull through with just a light parry. Theres always a way to outperform your opponent with LB. his moveset is so simple yet so effective. Imo his guardbreak is a huge tool. If you can't open them up you can guardbreak them and throw them into a wall then get a top heavy. From there it's free game with what your willing/capable to do with LB. He's been my favorite hero for a couple months or so.

Yes but in a world where your opponent does nothing but stare, you will always lose unless they mess up reactions. UB is reactable, bash is reactable, all attacks he has are reactable. You either have to rely on them messing up, timing, or rely on them attacking to do anything.

That's very true S. When I was doing my ranked matches last month I ran into alot of staring gladiators but I still won somehow. Basically just like you said. They have to mess up. I try to play mind games and "intimidate" them by doing some outrageous mix ups. It sounds weird but if you can get your opponent scared of your LB somehow/someway it works. You obviously know better than me but that's just what I've noticed with the staring opponents

I'm on console so I don't run into people who can react to unblockables as much as you. Also I'm definitely lower ELO than you so we probably see our opponents do different things

​@@WithOneS it really is crazy once people learned to out turtle the turtle lol. I almost wish his zone was unblockable. It would give him a way to mix up/open like BP though at a high stam cost and ut would give the zone any use in 1v1.

@@Wird97 well delayed bashes are easier to react to than bashes that can be instant like WL. A lot of the other characters that also have this type of bash, have something else to their kit to open with, law just has none of that. Reacting to animation is way easier against law, and way more consistent. I’m pretty inconsistent when it comes to UBs sometimes and I get like 90% of LBs correct. And even still, like I said you’re having to rely on your opponent to mess up to get any damage. In any world, he’s still at a disadvantage, not useless, and not the worst, just not good.

I try to use LB’s bash since I hate feinting my heavies everytime people stare. Everyone else has good counters to his offense it’s quite annoying having to play so safe with him

@@SomewhatRetro No I mean if law’s opponent stares, literally nothing he can do. Whereas, with most other characters they have SOME sort of unreactable offense they can use. Your opponent can just stare and react to you on law, but law’s gonna have to make some good reads to win.

Lawbringer is trash. Just one light attack with no chain, heavyattacks dont land because he is to slow and has no hyper armour, parrys are way to hard in ps4, so you nearly cant open the enemy up, even when you parry you can only push or use a light attack. No offense, the attacks that deal damage dont land
