It seems that the result is valid also for smaller number of members. I tried for 2: (46^.5+(45+2^.5)^.5)/(44^.5+(45-2^.5)^.5) = 1.027 And also for 3: (46^.5+(45+2^.5)^.5+(45+3^.5)^.5)/(44^.5+(45-2^.5)^.5+(45-3^.5)^.5) = 1.031
