He's still in the same places...basically in the streets living out the Gospel and the Great Commission. He's the type of person you run into while he's on mission. First time I met him at a Shai Linne concert years ago...just walked up to me and started talking to me for no reason, just like Preston descibed...and he had a crew of young dudes with him. Last time I saw him, randomly ran into him at a Watch Night service on the other side of the city. The "bigger" things I've heard him working on presently are Hood Heroes where they hire kids to do community work in the hood during the summer and J29 Homes where they buy and rehab vacants to provide to a low income family. His hands are in a lot of ground level service work in the city. I'm putting it on blast because he won't say a thing...unless he's looking for some volunteers or financial support for the people he's serving. It's all for the glory of Jesus. www.legacydisciple.org/

Wow… Brian is the “Paul” in Preston’s life (a father in the Lord to Preston). They talk so much alike. This is an example of “follow me as I follow Christ” that Apostle Paul spoke about. I pray you all walk with the Lord in true holiness and sanctification till the very end of your lives, in Jesus Christ’s name. I love you guys (and Jackie too of course) ❤❤❤

Good Content… This is what true discipleship looks like… you go to the dirtiest places of darkness and let The Lord Jesus shine through you then He gets The Glory. It is hard work but at the end of it all it is very rewarding. True discipleship glorifies God and Not we ourselves. It is good to see someone in the earth that claims the name of Christ and actually does it the way Jesus did it. I want to encourage you Brother Brian with a scripture Hebrews 6:10 one of my favorites. Continue to disciple others as they follow your model to follow you as you continue to follow Christ ❤🙌💯

Jackie and Preston are a little younger than me. As a survivor mom of two I wonder sometimes why God allows some to suffer in The Valley longer than others. The other day it randomly came to my mind ‘I know that this struggle has a purpose but how much longer Lord… what else does someone like Preston and Jackie need to do to grow in their faith out of the wilderness’ this podcast was a strange answered prayer and a little reminder that God cares about the tiny details and reminds you in small ways that he will honor your story and get the glory. Mentoring is a journey amen. Thank you

The power was in the fact that Pres said Brian spoke to him in a human and humble way. THIS is discipleship!!! I am so tired of the "form" of discipleship so shaded in with/by the spirit of religion! I am so tired. The narcissistic abuse, gaslighting and created environments of codependency on people istead of God is sickening.

mmmhh this was a necessary reminder for me to go back to inviting others in my life and Shuuu Brian's patience oh my, it is like you can feel it radiating from him. And I feel like that's what we lack in the church will that's what I lack the patience to walk out the journey with someone I have invited in. Because it is not EASY and you need a WHOLE LOT OF JESUS to shepherd/ disciple and sometimes that is the people we have "tried" to lead are now some two minutes noodles they know a bit of this and that and some are prone injury because they were not nurtured properly but hey its a lot of things that could go wrong when the motive of our hearts are not aligned to that of Christs.
