You can make the sleeves removable if you sew on snaps instead of zigzagging them on. Then you'll have a spaghetti sleeve and a cold shoulder top.

I found this the best video of yours so far, specifically because you showed the cutting process and spoke through the self-sizing. before building the garment. I don't know why but for some reason when maker-creating videos jump straight to the compiling and skip the ingredients measuring it makes me anxious...??? Not that that's something you HAVE to address or anything but I just wanted to let you know! i just made this top and it´s awesome ... (well i used an old white unisex shirt and simply cut the pieces out and i attached the sleeves to the top so my arms could move better) ... thanks wendy for the video very, inspirational :D

Yes! If you don't make the elastics as loose on the arms they will sit a bit higher. Another alternative to further increase height will be to attach the sleeves to the body at a lower spot along the sleeve, up to an inch raised should be safe!
