Love Eagle Creek. I always use the Spectre packing cubes because they are much lighter weight than the regular ones. Thanks for sharing.

Jen, your channel has become one of my favorites! Love your videos, love that they are on the longer side and am THRILLED your family is growing and you are willing to share your journey. Thank you for all your hard work and devotion to your content!

Thank you for this video. It was nice seeing the different cubes on one video. I discovered Eagle Creek Spectre packing cubes a few years ago and they totally changed my travel life. I use the Spectre because my carry-on is not that lightweight by today's standards (I purchased it many years ago when it WAS considered lightweight). The pack-it system in general has allowed me to travel with just a carry-on and a shoulder bag and unpack in 5 minutes. Great idea!

You introduced me to Eagle Creek Packing Cubes years ago but your tip from this video changed my travel time! The packing cube trick of just opening and placing in the drawer when traveling was one of the best travel tricks ever told to me!!! Thank you! Packing up and leaving California to go back to Alabama was a breeze! So thank you!

You introduced me to Eagle Creek Packing Cubes and I decided to take the plunge last year when my family and I took a month long trip to America last year (from the UK:)). I got a whole bunch of different ones and they were invaluable! I now use them on every trip- than you for the tip!!

I love my packing cubes,use them for the first time last summer when I went to Disney World.Eagle Creek have cute items but they do cost a lot.So I got mine from Ebags which are the same as eagle creek but less money.The material is like a windbreaker and it have the same mesh as the eagle creek so the clothes can breathe and same two zips and handle.They also come in different shapes,sizes and colors (which is good if you have multiple family members) I also use my "tube" one for flip flops.And you're right Jen everything is so organized and it is a breath of fresh air.Thank you introducing me to packing cubes.

I bought some eagle creek packing cubes before we moved overseas after watching your italy vacation I think. Anywho! They saved me so much stress! I bought a set for each family member. I was just able to toss their designated color onto the bed instead of empting the entire suitcase looking for my 3 years socks! It made things just much happier for me! Pretty Neat! My husband said "wow you are learning a lot from that Jen!" :) Thank you Jennifer :)

Great review. I love the Flight001 SpacePak ones, and have used those for years, retiring my "giant ziploc/spacebag" situation for them, and they're worth the money. I have a few of the Eagle Creek things, like quarter cubes for cables and stuff. Amazing. The Eagle Creek plain folding boards are great. I bought the Medium (?) one and cut it down to fit perfectly in my spacepak cube so that I could refold things. I keep it in the "dirty" section of it, and it weighs nothing. I roll my tshirts though and that saves TONS of space.

I love the packing cubes!! I also pack all of our dirty clothing in a them. When I get home I just grab the handle and take it to the washer. This way I don't have to carry the whole suitcase to the basement.

I started using packing cubes when I saw one of your videos on them a few years ago. LOVE THEM!! I wanted to get the eagle creek sets but at the time couldn't afford them and opted for the eBags version. They, too, hold up very well and are a bit more affordable. Using these is one of the best tips I've gleaned from a Jen vid! thank you so much!

Super excited about this video. My last couple of trips left me a bit frustrated because I knew there had to be a better way then just piling one thing on top of the other but I wasn't sure which cubes to get or how to use them in particular. This was incredibly helpful. Especially seeing how you pack your cubes. I am going to purchase a few key pieces once I'm done typing this note. THANK YOU!!! One other thing.....how do you pack your jewelry? I literally use the small snack sized ziploc bags. I'm sure there's a better way. Maybe you could show us how you pack jewelry and/or how you store your jewelry at home. This has been another item at the top of my list recently. I know what I'm doing isn't really working. Would love some inspiration! Have a safe trip to Utah!

I have the packing cubes from ebags. They are working really well for me and they were a lot more budget friendly. Not as high quality as eagle creek I imagine, but I do not travel extensively so I think they will last me a long time. They have lots of colours and sizes to choose from as well :)

Thanks for this review, I've been thinking about purchasing packing cubes, but trying to decide what company and what styles. I'm planning a trip to Iceland this year and Scotland next year, and based on the tours I am taking I'm limited to the size of suitcase I can bring, so thought these type of cubes would really help me try to pack as much stuff as I can. Thanks again, love your honest reviews.

Have you tried the Eagle Creek Specter Compression Cubes yet?? I wonder if they actually save space or if they just cinch in the edges and bulge out in the middle areas. Either way I would be very interested in your opinions! :)
@araluen829 жыл бұрын
I LOVVVVVVE my Specter set!!! So lightweight, it's the best for really getting the weight limit down and bulkiness in a carry-on backpack :) We also use pack cubes similar to the standard eagle creek style. They are brilliant for organised packing :) Oh, and I think the quick trip toiletry bag is incredible! So small, I'm forced not to pack too much! I considered getting the Specter version, but the standard one is a bit more sturdy, with more structure to the frame, so much better. My mum uses the Wallaby bag for her toiletries, good for a longer trip than a weekend away! She used her's for a few months in Italy.

Jen, Can you fit your DSLR in the eCube? If so, will it also hold lenses? Can you show how you pack your cameras and lenses?
@WithWonder9 жыл бұрын
Housewife Memoirs I can fit it into the large one. Lately I've just been packing my dSLR into a small neoprene sleeve in my carry-on and it works great, but for a bit more padding and room for an additional lens the large eCube is a great alternative.

Is there anything you (or anyone) always forgets to pack? I ALWAYS forget a hairbrush and therefore always end up having to get a terrible hotel mini comb.
@WithWonder9 жыл бұрын
Steph Mitch Not really, TBH. We travel on a fairly regular basis so I've got the packing down to a science. I always write a little "do no forget" sticky note list for me and Don with our last minute essentials so we don't forget anything important that we can't pack ahead of time.

It's such a shame you always refer to webshops where you can buy stuff. I'm all for supporting the small businesses and companies. Like books; it's so easy to go to your local bookstore and buy a book or order it there. I work fulltime for a living and even I have time to do this.
