I'm an office supply junkie, so I can relate to having lots of drawers filled with all the appropriate office accoutrements. My favorite tip I garnered from this video was putting polish remover & cotton pads easily accessible in my desk drawers. BRILLIANT! One of my pet peeves is chipped polish & I have often been easily distracted to go upstairs to take care of chipped nails & don't always make it back to work in a timely fashion. Yea! Here's to better productivity & no chipped nails! Woo Hoo!

I love your office furniture! It's so pretty and functional. I have a very pretty sawhorse style desk, but it isn't very functional, as it has no drawers. I use decorative storage baskets and photo boxes that I slide in and out of the shelves as sort of a drawer system. It works ok and looks nice, but your desk is awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Super! Now I know what to do with my other side of my freshly cleaned out desk drawers! One side is my work related and I will now make the other side my personal stuff such as bill paying and check books etc...very good. I feel better about the stuff I do keep...you and I have similar interests and I just needed the next step for getting stuff out of boxes and zippered cases, usually piled next to my chair, and into drawers and bins! Holy post-it notes, Batman! I have a pretty large collection of post-it notes from college. I hated taking notes in my books, so I would collect small post-it notes whenever I saw them in a store and used those instead. It was always fun at the end of the quarter when I spent 20 minutes plucking out all of the post-it notes I had tucked away inside my books. I had the most colorful books in my class. :o)

Have you thought of using a password manager like Last Pass? I use it and I love it - no more need for a password notebook and it will create passwords for me so I don't use the same ones on multiple websites. It's wonderful.

I use elfa drawers that roll under a table like desk. They are the shallow drawers with many compartments that I added. I have many pens, markers and pencils.

I’m just about to get on either Amazon or eBay which ever is the best one and buy a business card holder, I’m waiting to hear back about which label maker will give me the largest size print (as I am legally blind) not necessarily the largest size label. Then I’ll purchase the. But thank you for the business card idea, except I think my health section will take up most of it is that will be semi- divided into many sections. So thank you for your help. I wouldn’t have thought of that - I’m doing my desk drawers at the moment too but I’m kind of doing everything else as well so it’s more when I find something for something I’m doing it - meanwhile I’m working on everything. If that makes sense.

Hey Jen, just an idea for the address labels. I have mine in a coupon organizer (just a little expanding file; I saw some at Target for $1 last week) with labels for each category (seasons, animals, etc.) It makes it a LOT easier to find what I want quickly!

Great idea - I tell anyone now to write down and keep the pass words safe. This last year my mother had a stroke, and it was a pain trying to figure out what the pass words/logins were for her bills, and banking. Right after the stroke she was not able to tell me. She is better now.

Maybe you could keep the beauty sub services info in an Excel spreadsheet. It would allow you to search and compare more easily (if that information is helpful) and wouldn't take up space in your drawer. Then you could just recycle the cards and not have to sift through them individually if you want to look back through.

It's actually not the safest thing to have all your pws the same. I generally keep less important pas the same, but I have unique pws for each of my more secure accounts.

Here's a tip for remembering passwords: Change all of your passwords to the same thing - the same password for every site of yours..... THEN, every other week or once a month (whenever you feel necessary) change them ALL again to a new password. So, you really only have to remember one password for every site, but it changes often for security purposes. :)
