I went to the container store recently to re-do basically all of my bathroom cabinets/drawers. I also got a flip fold folding board & re-did all of my husbands bedroom drawers! They look sooooooo nice! I'll do mine next. Thanks for motivating me!!!

I LOVE this idea!! Please continue to do mini organizing projects as well. I can't always relate to the big projects, but I love to watch them ! I just can relate more to the mini projects. Thank so much ! I gotta head out to get stuff to do this ! Great idea ! Thanks so much Jennifer.

Tackling small organizational tasks is a great way to bite off a little chunk of disorganization. It gives the sense of satisfaction & motivates me to want to tackle larger projects. Thanks for posting a great example of this. Hopefully it will give me the gumption to get going on my own organizational projects. For some reason, I enjoy watching you organize so much more than I enjoy organizing myself - but isn't that always the case? You're a wonderful example & inspiration. Good luck tomorrow!

REALLY IMPRESSED that you did not choose to line the drawers, Jen. I think that's one of the many great differences between you and other organizing GURUs. =) Your work is functional---and beautiful, without being too time consuming. As a working mommy---I love to be inspired to organize, but don't have time for needless steps in projects like these. Thanks so much for sharing! =)

Love your mini projects, one drawer, one shelf, one cupboard at a time keeps me from feeling overwhelmed when de-cluttering and looking st what I love and what I use. Thanks to you I've cut way back and it shows in my bank account. Woud you do a video on what you used and didn't use on a trip? That would be so helpful.

Great minds think alike!! I was just at the Container Store yesterday looking for a solution for my bedside table top drawer! I also love the Linus organizers and wanted to used them in my project. I didn't have the measurements so decided to go today instead. I will send you a photo of my finish project. Jen, thank you so much for sharing, you are a source of inspiration to me. Karina

Oh no! Coming from a carpentry family the best advice I always give to people is to NEVER clean their wood furniture with water!!! It is horrible for not just the wood but also the polish/finish that is on it. You should always use a furniture polish or polish wipes. You can purchase the wipes at the Dollar Tree. Happy cleaning! :)
@SammyFabulous6 жыл бұрын
if its a barely damp cloth then that is what is recommended actually. I have heard this from furniture companies and people who restore furniture. Always using polish makes for a bad case of build up

I love all of your videos, expecially your organizing projects! I have similar little bins that I use in my bedside drawers. (I even organized hubby's side) The containers i have are the smaller ones and even the square ones but I bought mine at the dollar store. The only thing about them that is different is they dont have the rubber pieces on the bottom but they are still wonderful! I am going to have to get some of the bigger sizes for me though :)

Wish my bedside table drawers were so empty! Alas, they are not but organised as best I can. I love those drawer organisers also, though they are very pricey here is Aus. I use them in my desk drawers among other places and I find they slip all the time which is so annoying. I'm thinking of using some blue tac to keep them still!
