So is Bear Paws better than battle axe?

Imo bear paws is better but more expensive which is why you see less of it in the black zones compared to the battle axe

Put it this way Bearpaws : High mobility so more viable in open world due to its high chase/escape potential and also true damage and blink E for ganking, and dismount. Can easily counter ranged dps like bows and frost staffs. But for me personally i like battleaxe since it has higher combat potential if you are fighting another melee DPS. Battleaxe : Lesser mobility but way higher sustain and insane burst and heal from E, So if you are matched with another melee DPS you will probably get some insane kills if you outplay them with your E but lack some chase so be sure to avoid high mobility and kite builds like Bow, Arcane and Frost staffs. Also better than bearpaws at PVE. Summary : Bearpaws = Assassin with huge mobility Battleaxe = Walking tank with huge DPS

@@onphe lol my opinion is a fact Bears is way too expensive compared to the battle axe, and is used by most gankers in the red zones to dismount players Of course it has less sustain, why? Because it has the ability to dish out high amounts of damage early on in the fight It's a better weapon for me because I have more fun using it. GGs

@@onphe IMO you got to have a significantly higher skill level to use Bearpaws to its maximum potential since one wrong move could cost you the entire fight. Bearpaws gameplay relies a lot on the ability to exploit the opponents weakness and make full use of it in which if u can master it you could become the controller of the battlefield, Extensive pvp and combat experience can contribute a lot to this. Battleaxe on the other hand has its sustain which could turn back the fight, With its tanky nature and the ability to produce large amounts of lifesteal it could easily win most brawls with another melee dps weapons even with some mistakes now and then, But it has one major flaw having a weakness against kiting build. Although bearpaws lacks in the aspect of sustainibility Bearpaws could fight back against kiting build which are more commonly used in the open world as of now. But if bearpaws are faced with a melee dps it could also won whereas the battleaxe would lose 80% of the time against kiting builds. as @Flash D said it has the ability to "dish out high amounts of damage early on in the fight" u could use this insight to poke the enemy multiple times and kite them with your available skill and can even escape should that ever become necessary.
