If I can come back after 30 years of living a hard life ! Anyone can! I quit smoking after 30 years! 2packs a day! If you want a better life return and ask for forgiveness! You won’t regret it!

Your Heavenly Father loved you even when you were smoking 2 packs a day. I am 95 and stopped smoking back in 1953 when I was 25.

I'm the same. I left but I have been able to come back and have received many blessings and even my endowment. I am so grateful for the gospel and the ability to be forgiven and to be one o his children ❤

A day that stands out on my mind as most important is the day I was baptized into The Church Of Jesus Christ. On that day my lifestyle , my priorities all changed . I am forever greatful that I was blessed with the desire to do as Moroni suggest . To inquire of the Lord if the Book Of Mormon was true .

When I have questions, i go to the revealed Gospel, the scriptures, the Gospel as taught in the Temple.... I may go to Apostles for information, clarification, but we are to converse with the LORD, thru the veil.

When I have questions, I look to the apostles and prophets. I absolutely know the Book of Mormon is divinely inspired scripture. Therefore, Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. This Church is THE Church of Jesus Christ. I will rely on the Savior to help me keep the Covenants I have made with the Lord.

@@deplorablewhitemale1087it’s sad that you’re just go off of what others saying and not really taking the time to ask Heavenly Father about the truth. This is the only Church here upon the earth that the leaders would ask the members to ask God if what they’re teaching are true. Why? That’s because the Holy Ghost only testify of truth, and source of all truths. I know with all my heart that this is Gods kingdom here upon the earth. I am grateful and proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I love this talks from the leader of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was baptized 2021 at my age 63 years old I was baptized since I was Three months old. So now I baptized again and wash away all my sins. So I have a promised to God when I was received the gifts of Holy Ghost to forgiveness my sins. When I repent I feel joy into my heart. Lyn Ignacio watching from Hawaii I grow up to Philippines until at my age 57 years old then came to America.❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love to watch the General Conference I learned more from the leaders of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.❤️❤️❤️❤️

@@henreeeef3214Render unto Cesare that which is Cesare's. You pay your taxes, right? That supports war, right? If you are conscripted into the army, you go, right? Or to jail, right? The sheep in this world are driven where the evil shepherds push them. he Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (it's not the Mormon Church) in no way takes a political or military position. They do take moral positions and defend them with financial resourses and encouragement of the membership. Where do you get this stuff that we are involving ourselves in the political and military positions of tjhe world? Where are all these "true Christians" you are citing? I haven't heard a peep out of one of them, yet. Nor have I seen any in any land. C"mon, tell us. Identify them. Why don't you recognize the millions and millions of dollars in humanitairian aid The Church dispenses? What has the loving united brotherhood done for the poor of this world? Tell me that one.

Dear Vana, Prophet Nelson is nearly 100 years old. A missionary, nearby can baptize you. They are nearly everywhere. All baptizms are in the name of Yahshua HaMashhiach (Jesus Christ) And what would the words from the Lord be?

@@henreeeef3214When I enlistd in 1945, I was young, patriotic, and unknowing. As a LDS, today, knowing what I know now, I would tell the gov't to take a long walk off a short pier. Think of ukraine and Gaza, today. The answer you got from that young missionary has it's origin in the belief that "Governments are ordained of God" and we are under an obligation to obey. Sins are on the heads of those responsible. (evil motives). But with the internet, today, people are wiser then they were when I went in. (the day I enlisted, I was playing hookey from school - my mother didn't even know) Remember, Jesus said render unto Cesare that which is Cesare's. Jesus Christ's return is the only hope for mankind.

Keyword is UNCHANGING and ETERNAL. This is key because there are some people that accuse the LDS of being a relativist religion without doctrinal stability and with the possibility of changing doctrines on a whim.
