Possibly my favorite symphony every written (impossible to say, but i love it). In my composition lessons in college, every other lesson we'd spend time analyzing scores/listening to pieces...I brought the score to this symphony more than anything else. I got it through interlibrary loan maybe 10 times over a couple years. Thanks for this post.

Although the symphony runs continuously, Lutoslawski described it as being in two movements. The first a slow, introductory movement, and the second, a faster, developmental movement starting at 10:49. Hope that helps!
