Concept of the video: The names of the paintings around the room are “False Idols” and “Drugs”, people are giving all their attention to the blank paintings showing they are hypnotised and almost controlled by the meaningless things and ignore Witt who plays “The Artist” (which is on the piece of paper next to his box) and it isn’t until he puts so much of himself into his performance that it literally kills him that the people stray their attention from the paintings and onto Witt. In my opinion the video adds so much value to the song and makes the finished product a ‘work of art’ and is just overall incredible.
