Sorry about this but I got some complaints. It feels like the things that made Wizards Of Legend different from other rogue likes was taken away. The attacks don't have that satisfying crunch of impact like the old game. Enemies kinda look like they're getting hit by a gust of air from a fan. Where's the combo meter that was like hands down one of the best things to see while melting hordes of monsters? The sound design especially for the lightning spells is irritating. It would have been nice if they could have recycled some of the old sounds from the old game for the spells

Game looks lifeless, made with stock assets. The old one had a frame perfect 2d animation. No idea why they changed the graphics.

No more shops every map, no more arcana to pick and choose during your run. I played the demo i got bored really fast. I have 400h on the first game.

This is being developed by an entirely different team. Nobody who built Wizard of Legend is working on the sequel. The publisher owned the rights to the name and ideas, and so when the original devs didn't want to make a sequel they brought in a different team to do it. I agree on all points: This sequel feels *painfully* generic. Worst part is, the team they brought in is Dead Mage. Dead Mage also made Children of Morta which was an amazing pixel art game, one of the best honestly. I have no idea why they decided to go with the incredibly boring and mainstream appearance and gameplay of this sequel. Maybe that studio lost all of their talent? This sequel is looking like such a disappointment. Basic as hell, obviously trying to emulate Hades and doing it very poorly, lost everything which made the original a masterpeice.

The first was one of the best roguelike games I've ever played, but now it seems that it's even better in all aspects: visuals, online co-op, larger spaces to fight... Can't wait!

Первая часть была отличной. И мне нравился её визуальный стиль, не уверен что смена графики и перспективы пошла на пользу игре. Хотя карточки аркан выглядят неплохо. Отсутствие арканы для дэша слегка настораживает. Буду на релизе смотреть, как оно играется.

Highly inspired on Hades, which is a good thing, we don't have a lot of similar games and gameplay wise, it is almost certainly a hit

If you haven't seen it the first wizard of legend actually came out 2 years before hades and while the art is a bit flatter the game is very similar to this demo and a lot of fun.

@@thegodinfinite I've played Hades 1 and 2 and WoL decent amount of time and I should say that visual part of this game reminds me of Hades. It's not a bad thing but it's strangely similar

Tbh, this seems to be pretty whack... It lost it's much loved and well craftet pixel art style and the epic orchestral OST which made the game and atmosphere feel so powerfuland rich, despite the "low" grafics. Instead it sort of looks like League Of Legends now and has got cringy voice acting. I really don't know, why I would call this a sequel to the original.
