I've been practicing on this program for years, left it in frustration, and returned after live dice rolls showed crazy is possible, even expected with this game. Outcomes will deviate from probability on a casino table, rolling dice in a box lid or on a random number generator. Michael Shackleford gains nothing from offering a biased practice site, and I believe him to be an honorable man.

Thank you for acknowledging my inquiry, and promise I would never have accused or stated what I played through had it not happened. I'm still curious in wonderment about whether or not there is actually any form of advantage play methodology to beat the game of craps like card counting. I was hoping that the Wizzard could answer that for me.

So, Mr. Shackleford, I have put together an initial video presentation in regard to a serious program flaw in your RNG free craps game simulator on your outstanding website and provoked in my own intrigue to potentially do a series of videos demonstrating over again this bias (and certainly NOT charging that you are doing this on purpose) favoring one specific side in outcome for prolonged periods of time - in this case for several months now, the Pass Line. Now, extending a for the record note, it's either I am being "hacked" in some alien way which is absurd or there is something here in regard to RNG code programming the game of craps vs real life/live play. An easier way is to test the online code with some minor easy modifications. Add a loop to auto run 10K+ times. Add code to auto place a bet on pass line. The pass line win/loss is already coded. Add code to log all the rolls (can write/append to a text file in root of the code) for statistics. To avoid doing it with logs you could: Add a counter for number of rolls between Pass lines. Number of failed pass lines in a row and replace it if another set is longer.

My take away was the line: "A Chi-square probability close to 1 comes _suspiciously_ close to expectations." Results 'too perfect' can also be suspicious!

Last year I ran a simulation of 5000 rolls on your program and recorded them on a spreadsheet, then did 10 sets of 5000 rolls each in Excel (and I will acknowledge Excel is not the greatest Random Number Generator in the world). The Sevens to Rolls Ratio in the 10 Excel columns (50,000 rolls) average 6.08 and a variance of 5.66 to 6.49. The 5000 roles from your program had a Seven to Roles Ratio of 5.51. Bad run of luck? Possibly. Weak RNG? Possibly. But noteworthy just the same. Happy to share the data, I still have it.

Michael, is it possible with normal computing power to figure out the algorithm of a pseudo random number generator???? How many decisions would need to be analyzed? Could it be done by a very powerful PC? More just an intellectual pursuit and curiosity, but figured you would be the guy to ask Michael. I work in cybersecurity where PRNGs are not good enough for some encryption applications, but I know the casino industry uses them.

I assume, if it was verifiable, a streak of 72 points in a row losing to a 7 as part of a 100 decision sample would have an extremely low A-Chi square number, and would be a strong indication there was something wrong with the PRNG.

I am the individual who played through losing 72 straight points made in a row and had many sessions throughout the past year using this exact RNG training program that resolved the strangest runs of points made vs 7s and vice versa. Currently, as stated on the other comment section, his RNG is favoring more point wins than 7 outs. I have always felt that even though RNG programs seem to replicate "real-time events" perfectly, there is always a programming flaw that will never perfectly replicate real-life play.
