Wizard's Secret Festival Locations! - Stardew Valley

The Wizard's secret festival locations explored! Turns out that at several of the festivals, the Wizard is standing in a secret place not normally accessible. This also includes some unique dialogue. Any theories on this? There are a few more things that still need exploring.. Stardew Valley gameplay with my commentary as always!

I'm pretty sure the hidden egg off-screen is a manifestation of Willy's dialogue during the egg hunt. He says something along the lines of him hiding an egg so well no one finds it until it goes bad.

There's also one in the back of his pick-up truck that I don't think you can actually pick up. It's easy to spot, but trying to interact with it just interacts with his truck instead.

There's a fan theory that Elliott is (or was once) a merman. Not only does he choose to live by the ocean and is often seen staring out at the water (either the sea or the river) but at the Luau the Wizard talks about the merpeople being upset if humans litter into the ocean, while at the Moonlight Jellies festival Elliott talks about it being a shame that humans litter into the ocean...

You can invite him to the movies and he shows up in disguise, probably does the same for festivals once he becomes your roommate. The fortune teller can just “see” through the illusion

Well. We know from other interactions that the reason hes up there on the cliff during the hallows festival is because he was using magic to grow and shape the hedges as no one was allowed to go up there while he set it up. Personally I believe him and Linus are friends due to the fact that they both stay clear of most people. Not because of any fancy like, "Linus is connected to nature" sorts of stuff. I think they both can keep secrets and as such they tell each other stuff. He probably helps Linus survive out in the wilderness

Costantino Carnevale It could just be that since both Linus and the Wizard have deep appreciation for nature, they have found a certain kinship with one another. It also helps that they’re both outcasts in their own way, so I bet it’s easier to relate. Of course, there’s also the possibility that they have known each other for a long while. I just don’t think their relationship is as deep or complex as people make it out to be.

I think why the wizard was at the spirits eve festival was because Lewis noted that the Wizard was the one who set up the maze. He was probably just watching to see who figured it out. And also to see weak mortals scream in fear, etc.

Linus is King Arthur, and the Wizard is Merlin. Merlin is aware that Abigail is his daughter, and has asked King Arthur to assist in protecting the village from the ongoing war that Kent has returned from. But in order to protect the village, and keep himself hidden from the enemy, King Arthur has to pretend to be a homeless man.

So the Wizard is constantly outside the festivals because of the dialogue options the Wizard says when you talk to him is something along the lines of "I surprise watch the villagers without them noticing... I hope to find an apprentice to pass along my arcane knowledge." The festivals are him watching the villagers since all of them are in one location

The Wizard seems to be watching people in stardew valley because the area/ all the people in the valley are different to people outside of the valley (possibly due to some magical force that may be hinted at through dialogue e.g the secret forrest and junimo's) I believe this as he refers to the people in the valley as mundane - suggesting that they font fit in with the rest of the world

I'm pretty sure the "you shouldn't be here" text was from the developer. Basically if you did get there you would have done it through a glitch, you could contact ConcernedApe so he could fix it.

I'm not sure if you can do this on PC, I use Xbox, but you might be able to get in the wizard's tower by running into him. After a second or two he should vibrate like an idiot and you can go though him once he stops vibrating.
