With Arch-Mastery now in the game, would it be reasonable to train something like Meteor Strike and set your school pips to fire? It's not in your school so it will do less damage, but a lot of items give universal damage nowadays and you can still use TC enchants and train elemental blade to boost damage enough, at least until you get Scarecrow.

​@@MightyMase04 Reindeer knight is not nearly as necessary for Ice as Deer Knight is for Death. Ice gets Blizzard pretty early and doesn't have the same problems Death does. Considering Reindeer Knight isn't even half as available as Deer Knight is(packs or gold key boss farm only), it's almost unnecessary.

I've opened tons and tons of packs, farmed loremaster hundreds of times. But you know what? One time I beat loremaster and saw Deer Knight pop up on my screen. I was super excited, until I realized it was christmas and I got reindeer knight instead. I legit almost cried.

A note from someone who got lucky, you can also get the jewels as a drop from Apollo in Mount Olympus, and I've got it a good few times just farming the dungeon on my death anyway. Its a lot more common of a drop than the spell itself, free, and you're likely to be doing the fight multiple times anyway. Also, if you have a high level friend and only want the jewel, its an easy farming and is the first fight in the dungeon. (Also, Apollo is a life boss, so you can bean them as a death if you fight solo)

I had no idea you could craft this. I got it as a drop from the early days of battling Zeus, I havent used it because my death is already level 130. But I like to keep rare jewels just in case. This is very important for low level death wizards! Nice job!

i cant use it because i need to have a death school pip. this way it's useless because you get school pips at lvl 50 and you get scarecrow at lvl 48 which is much better than deer knight

This is what I did for the crafting portion of this guide. The fastest way to get iron is to buy it from the bazaar no doubt, sometimes the bazaar can be dry but I started to find a lot of iron around 4 PM EST. Zaepha has a guide on farming gold so check that out since iron is 2500 per piece which is 5k per craft. You could alternatively farm the 200 stone blocks per craft and transmute the iron. I farmed at crab alley and it took me around 50 minutes to get enough for 1 craft. It isn't as bad as it seems since at crab alley you also get kelp and shells which sell for 113-100 at the bazaar. I got around 70ish kelp and shells per hour which in turn makes around 14k if you sell at close to max price for each. This excludes the rare drops you get like aether from kelp which can sell for 630 at max price, for reference I got around 8 per hour. I would like to give a more conclusive answer on which is better, farming reagents at crab alley or farming gold, but I haven't farmed gold to test it. I'm level 27 who just finished krokotopia and this is my first ever wizard that has gone past triton avenue. Final edit: Fishing is by far the more superior and less time consuming way to get gold. Just get your tier 1 ice fishing spell and go fish at aero village and you'll get yourself a decent amount of gold. I got around 30k from using 64 energy, I will say I got lucky and got 3 black berry jellyfish. Obviously you can't do this forever so if you do wish to spend all of your time trying to get deer knight then I recommend farming reagents at crab valley. In the end I did 60 crafts and haven't gotten it but DO NOT let this get your hopes down. I'm just saying that so you can see that some people don't get lucky enough to get it within 10 tries. Getting a death aoe spell before level 48 is 100% worth your time and you'll feel cool showing off our boy deer knight.

Yeah I used the jewel all the way to Zafaria then I did crafting quest and had a max level take me to the avalon dungeon where i defeated the boss, unlocked the vendor, bought the recipe, and finally crafted the spell. Then I used that spell with buffs from Zafaria all the way to empyrea where it started not doing the work it once did earlier. But my point is, deer knight has got to be the best spell for early death wizard's in the game and will definitely carry you for a long time. Like heck I trained reindeer knight with spellements i got from lore master yes the worst by far rng bosses and my level 20 ice is definitely being carried by it. Thanks for telling the community this, it is definitely one of the by far best spells for early worlds that and reindeer knight alongside. Keep up the great work 🙂👍

Just wanted to comment that after coming back to W101 after 8 years and starting over on a death acc (I was a life main at the time), I knew there wasnt any AOE death spell until you get Harvest lord at Lvl 48 I believe. Some pets give the death humongofrog but deer knight not only is cooler - it's damage is good to clear early on. I kinda cheated cuz the life account was apparently loaded with gold 😅 Bought all the reagents and did the steps in the guide and boom: I have the deer knight jewel. Sucks my death character is only lvl 19 and I cant use it until lvl 25, but after I get there Marlybane and Mooshu should be a breeze. Thanks a ton, definitely liked and I am subbing for more content as I get used to the game once more.
