Overall spellements are way better in packs for unlocking spells. so you know 100% if you keep getting the spellements you can actually get the spell. (Rip to all my crowns trying to get ratspin a couple years back) On the other hand its absolutely horrible if you want to actually upgrade said spell...I don't even know people who have upgraded rank 1 spells fully, and those are farmable. There is no way anyone will buy the packs to fully upgrade.

I'd take traditional Lore Packs over Spellemental ones any day since the rates are much more *stable!* And I'm sure that there will be a few PvP whales who commit to fully upgrading each of these spells. Heck, people bought into the Crown reward Events, there definitely be those who buy into Spellements too. x/

It costs *715* Spellements to fully upgrade _each_ of these spells. With the *generous* assumption of 1 Spellement per Pack for the spell you want, it'd cost *$400!*

I think KI makes it so that you’re less likely to get something of your school from a pack. So, on your storm you’re less likely to get storm related drops like the spell. I suggest experimenting sometime by going to your life and trying to get the storm related stuff and see if it’s more frequent

I don't disagree, but these spells are situational at best and certainly not overpowered like previous lore spells. Name a time when you'd spend 4 pips on 585 dmg when you can just spend 4 pips on Calypso and do more dmg? Name a time when you'd spend 4 pips on 585 hp when you can just spend *3* pips on Current and do 500 hp on average? Name a time when you'd spend *5 pips* to hit and transfer a trap when you can just spend 1 pip and feint if you want the trap or spend 0 pips and cleanse ward if you want to remove a trap on self? Name a time when you'd spend 4 pips on 430-490 dmg when you can spend 4 pips on 400 dmg + a 25% trap? Name a time when you'd spend 4 pips on 325-385 dmg and cleanse ward on self when you can just spend 0 pips on a cleanse ward on self? Or literally just shield? These spells are situational in both PvP and PvE. Bandit and Splash are trap utilities - name a time when you've ever used cleanse ward at all? Beary is even worse, it might hit if you need it to heal or heal if you need it to hit. I guess you save deck space but who cares if it's just gonna screw you over?

Personally I’d like to see KI do a purely spellemental pack with nothing else in it, all seven slots are spellements and maybe it’s random chance? Like not specialised spells for certain themes like these or the grizzle lore pack, just a crapshoot bc it would be a good way to get a lot for many characters at once, maybe as an event or a reward. Maybe they’ve done something similar to this and I missed it but I think a purely spellemental pack would be more appreciated than 5 full pages of music scrolls bc that’s ridiculous. Spellements are a good idea to upgrade a spell however they are a complete waste of time cause for people to get them they have to either money buying packs where a spellement isn't guaranteed every time or you have to do battles that drop spellments which could take time. How they handle spellements in this game is disgusting. They need to either have it guarantee you 10, 20, or 30 spellements per time with maybe higher odds of getting it dropped. Literally useless to get 1-3 per time.

I only unlocked Camp Bandit so far with the spending of almost 30,000 crowns, and I’m like less than 20 spellements away each for the other two spells, (even though I wanted Camp Bandit the most). This is what happened for ship of fools. If I opened the pack with the wizard I wanted the spellement for, it wouldn't give me any of those spellements over 1 of them every like.. 8 packs.. But as soon as I open the packs on a wizard I didn't want some spellements on.. they dropped a lot. It's just superstition... but damn it felt real.

Spellements are considered reagents, so you just put them in your shared bank. You’re not transferring the spell, just the spellements to make it.
