I like it! I definitely feel like some of the names could have been avoided had kingsisle done more culture competency research. Granted, this backlash is because of some users being hateful but why, like you said, does it seem like there's always people trying to be toxic on wiz???I wish that moderators would do more to ensure that bigots get banned !

They need a try before you buy option on name change. It may look cool, but once you put it together 😢. They should make it name alaising which would be a client only display feature. It only become permanent and every one sees it, if you buy it. They should allow you "once" a year to change it.. Gender change would have been easy, if they had used gear id's, where one bit in the id field meant male/female version, easy to flip a bit.

something that would fix the game allot: I'm a bit late to the show but I feel like this is how the game should be updated regularly: Spring: new side events update that would get people playing year round (kinda like talk about events that will take place year round) Summer: new gameplay mechanic or even new crafting/farmable boss/or just something worth farming for(kinda like some special gear that looks cool and not locked behind raids) just something that's worth farming keys to battle them Fall: New World/Ultra Dungeon(if they ever wanted to bring back them) Winter: Nothing big or huge maybe some sort of side event and some updates on what's going to happen in the following year coming throughout the year: Random Packs(only because its most likely will happen anyways)

I would argue the restrictive speech in wiz actually creates more of these extreme instances. When you are so restricted for so long, there is a slingshot effect taking things to the extreme of what they are allowed when it’s added. It’s what I believe we saw happen. Yea it’s a reflection of the individuals character or of cultural identity markers of the individuals life and I don’t think that should be restricted. You have to hope they grow out of it because it is part of children’s growing process. Make everything free to play and I think I’d agree with the restrictions more, but currently with the membership system, it does not make sense to censor so much user content that individuals are paying for. Not a huge fan of the speech restrictions but understand that it is a kids game and some limitations may be needed to keep the title. Keep up the great content sauce!

You really don't know the deal with the name "ShatterPants?" Ignore the first name, it could be anything. The deal is the last name because ShatterPants literally sounds like a disgusting innuendo, which is "Shat Her Pants." So in retrospect, the name would read "Piper Shat Her Pants" which is something I personally wouldn't want to see if I were logging in and playing Wizard101. I'm glad Kingsisle took responsibility and deleted and edited all the inappropriate names that they released in the test realm in a quick response time.

I like wiz but they need to be realistic. Ppl of all ages play this game not just children. I honestly feel they should make it so that ppl of a certain age play on different servers like underage play on a certain server and older adults play on a more mature server where we can have more freedom and not all this watered down bs.
