Yes it is p2w for most things gear wise depending on the school & all the spells are p2w if they can’t be obtained currently other than by spending irl money via crowns.

Definitely pay to win imo, my biggest issues though is how hard it is to actually get the gear you need for your specific school... lets say you just want balance boots for example and dont have a bunch of different schools... the new pack drops EVERY schools athame, ring, deck, robe, boots, wand, AND hat. The chances of you getting what you need is wayyy too low. KI really needs to add some convert system for school specific gear cuz this is crazy. Not a fan of new spells only being in packs either.

So, I found that the number one rule for pack openings is that you open them on the character, where you want the gear the LEAST. Case in point: I opened packs on my myth, as that's the one I use last for pvp. I looked mostly for the spells. I got 58 death, 38 fire and 9 myth. Tell me that's random...😮

All I gotta say about the spellements is I knew it. Course can't give us spells through quest or even dungeon again like King Art ones or Darkmoor. I mean think last time they gave spells was PvP only so not really if you don't PvP. I wanna say last actual time was when people voted for spells and Myth got Rat Magician. EDIT: BTW anyone notice now both paths of Reindeer Knight are no PvP? I didn't check regular Deer Knight

burrower’s robe gives the most health in the game, my ice can now get 13k health with 175 damage and 48 resist, 33 pierce, 575 crit, 760 block. - offensive set

if you get high enough shad rating you get shadow pips all the time though which imo is better cause it makes them more reliable at the expense of maybe 10 less damage
