Hell yes I agree. I was able to get up to 195 max energy from just gear I got by playing and crafting, and with a pet. But my Red Barn Farm has four 69-plot Couch Potato gardens, two outside and two inside. I can't plant-all a 69 plot garden then care for the other plants at the same time.

I def agree, there needs to be a way to add more energy to usable gear so if you’re doing a raid it doesn’t completely deplete the second you change from your energy gear set to your raid gear. For example i can have 320 energy with my energy set, but i need to go do a raid, and with my current setup, i only have 130 the second i go into the raid (which uses a ton of energy quick) there should be layers to gear or something to where we can keep our energy garmets on even when we change into our damage gear sets)

@@candlejack101 Fair enough but I don't spend a single cent on energy elixirs. My Wizards all garden, pet train, fish as needed. It was worth the effort. Same can't be said upgrading Merciless to Aeon but for a tiny upgrade i bet you did that. Come Wallaru you'll go head long into farming again with a tiny improvement again. Energy gear is a real investment that you don't have to upgrade.

Yeah I think KI realized in the year leading up to Karamelle that having 140 energy would allow players to replant an entire 69 plot of couch potatoes without any energy gear, so they stopped increasing the base 💀

@@Adam-to7hv An elder harvest requires no energy, but replanting all 69 of them takes 138 energy, leaving the player with 2. Energy gear from packs makes KI a lot of money so it's plausible that this is one of the reasons why they stopped increasing energy with the level cap

Thank you for bringing this up, Sauce. I have only the arena ticket energy gear, but even that (about 220) has not completely filled up overnight. So the rate at which you refill energy is way too slow. This needs to be adressed, before they even consider raising the cap.

Yeah this is a massive issue, training pets to MEGA can take (EVEN IF YOU SUCCEED ON THE FIRST PET) up to 750 crowns. If you don't succeed, which is going to be the reality for many players, you're spending upwards of 4000 crowns per non-fail pet. Biggest issue with this is the fact that the biggest stat increases you'll see are pets alone, but when you go to train another pet it'll take away the pet you had those massive energy stats on leaving you with a severe lack of energy, even with the perfect gear. Glad you addressed this issue as I know KI tunes into videos like these every once in awhile.

i think a way to help things a little is that perhaps they could add some sort of alchemy system that allows the brewing of weaker versions of the crown shop potions, of course it wouldnt need to stop at just those, there could be plenty of cosmetic ones that change appearance or whatever else, or even some poisons you can brew to damage/weaken enemies in pve or maybe even pvp to a lesser extent. i dunno, maybe something like that would be a tad bit overpowered, but i have no doubt in my mind they could easily find ways to profit off of it. alchemy ingredient packs in the crown store comes to mind immediately, or premium recipes on sale in the crown store, stuff like that.

they should at least have the energy base at least match the level you are i.e 160 base at lvl 160. they could also make it "easier" to get energy elixirs in a way, like more pet promenade events etc.

also! you mentioned grub guardian! i cant believe anyone else remembers this game i am obsessed with grub guardian and have been ever since it came out. like even when i stopped playing wiz for years before i came back i still played grub guardian. but its barrier to entry is insane!! you have to buy the extra levels even if you're a member, 4 of the strongest towers are also pay to access. which in it of itself at the end of the day isnt too bad? I guess? Like im willing to put up with that because I really like the game but you cant even get the rewards!! Because the game is so old!! IF and thats a big IF you manage to beat some of the way harder levels (without an ultra pet) you're more likely to disconnect and then you dont even get the prize for beating the level! The servers for grub guardian and the app itself is so littered with bugs and messed up that its nearly impossible to play even if you WANT to. You cant even install it on android anymore, so you have to go through a billion hoops to play it if you dont have an apple device. And theres a HUGE app breaking bug that forces you to reinstall the game from scratch if it happens, and this app breaking bug happens almost 9 times out of 10 when playing the game! It's seriously heart breaking bc i love that game sm and the rewards are actually pretty useful but you literally cant even play it because it just locks you out / disconnects you before you get halfway through a level :(((. I really wish wiz would at LEAST update grub guardian to make it playable again because its the only way that some of us more budget players can get access to things like certain elixirs or farmable temp mounts.

I think they should add a new stat to the game in some form: energy replenish time. A stat that lowers the time energy ticks up so you don't need to spend 10 (or 7.5 for members) minutes per energy point. If I spend all my 250 energy I have, It takes me like a day and a half to fill to full! And that is part of the issue

Also make it replenish a %tage instead of flat 1 energy per 7.5/10 minutes. Like make it consistent for all wizards low or high

They need to make some changes in this section of the game. Either just flat increace energy or make it replenish faster, and by faster. I mean like 3 or 4 times faster. Also one of the things that has to change is the hatching timer. I' not saying remove it completely, but it just has to be shorter. It's dumb that as a member I still have to fight 12 hours for it.

Wrong it's not 10 elixir it's 11. The Most Free to Play wand you can get in the game is the craftable wands in arcanum which drop 11 energy and they also have really good stats.

Energy is a money grab. Remove the stat and adjust the activities that use It. Playing the game shouldn't be conditioned by this one stat.

@@LunaBari How so? Because things like pet making and gardening are already grindy on their own. You have to farm relentlessly for seeds ( or buy them), this if you didn't make use of the past member benefits and for pet making you need tons of gold and snacks, which also requires some time put into the game to obtain. Energy being a requisite on top of these only makes those activities more painful.

You have the wrong idea about this whole thing. This is possibly the biggest problem with w101. This is not a dang mobile game. I shouldnt have the buy energy to enjoy the game when i already pay membership. Its the most predatory MTX ive seen in any MMO.

Energy should auto refill in 24 hrs to full. It's dumb af to have 300 energy and within 24hrs it's not even back to full. If it was up to me i'd make it 8 resets. So people can login in the morning and garden then in the evening train pets or fish etc.
