I do enjoy beast moon when the team works well together and everyone is pleasant..I used to complete it on 3 different wizards each event..now I usually manage 1 with my time constraints..but I have found if you do your part to help others learn it instead of degrading them for not understanding it, it goes pretty smooth..and you all end up enjoying it whether you win that round or not..and thankfully, win or lose, everyone gets rewarded!

Beast Moon can be a lot of fun until an ultra competitive player comes in. I've been on the receiving end of toxic behavior and have witnessed it dished out to noobs who maybe wanted to see what BM was all about. KI could alleviate much of the nastiness by having a playable tutorial or a practice kiosk. A practice kiosk would also be helpful for players that just got a new form and are unsure of the spells and strat for that form.

Outside the whole doxing thing (took things way too far there my goodness), people getting angry when it comes to team-based activities is quite common, when your success is reliant on how well your teammates are that can be a irritating experience especially when there's farming or specific requirements that need to be met and considering there can be a lot of variables where for example you'll have teammates who go afk (nevermind the ones for legitimate reasons) all the time, people who get mad at one another then turn on each other with people trying to sabotage, newbies who gotta learn the ropes, hardcore players trying to optimize their runs, I mean it just comes with the territory, with that being said though, the guys who take it to the next level with the doxing etc. do need to be dealt with by Kingsisle.

My biggest gripe agesnst going into a competitive environment is that 75% to 90% of the time no action is taken on those who are displaying toxic behavior not to mention toxic people still weaponize reporting as a scare tactic and not only that with wiz having a very toxic competitive environment I see almost no action towards player accountability and to truthfully back this up when I was double boxing a couple weeks ago I had someone who was swearing through the chat filter calling ship of fools "ship of dumbasses" through the chat filter if things like that slip through the filter then who knows what stuff people do and get away with it when they should be instead punished for poor behavior and the devs keep saying oh we will do something bout it only for us to say when not to mention wizard101 Twitter put a post stating that toxic behavior is 100% against wizard101's tos and truthfully I think that Twitter post is a bit of a joke cuz people are still being as blatantly toxic as ever if not more toxic sorry for the paragraph this just needed to be said

I disagree with you about "accidentaly" clicking on a match for beast moon. When you have to click on the gamma icon before clicking on join match botton. A lpt of those same players are the ones who whine about the forms they want or the same ones that ruin the game deliberately for others.

I agree that facing groups when you are solo queue is really not fair. I have fun in BM, despite the problems, it's my favorite thing

Not really. People just need to co-op and communicate and be smart about what they do. Its part of the reason i prefer mayhem over hunt. Its simpler and doesnt require too much strategy.

So... new players who have no idea what they are doing and have no tiered forms vs people who talk on Discord voice chat with all tier 5 forms, who have extreme experience is fair I suppose to you. Why am I even trying to argue?

@@AntonConstanti If you are talking about new players fine i can see what you're saying. However, at this time I doubt there teams with completly new players , i feel like there would be instances where there are at least one or two people new, maybe even 3 though 3 is very rare. Like i said before we need to have some form of co-op which most times will lead to a stalemate and I have been in a situation where a stalemate has happened or we were very close to beating them because these same people get cocky after a while and slip up. Also the only reason why they so "good" to begin with is cause of how once again, KI made this prt of the game p2w i.e the scroll of fortune. 😑🙄🤬

I think the timer is too strict if one person decides to afk or whatever they ruin the entire game for people. It stresses people out a lot trying to time waves

agree so hard. wiz has a smaller player base and we cant be repelling people from the game. the game needs to be attractive as possible to keep players bc if youre new, there isnt a lot of people so there is no fomo (fear of missing out) , no one you know on this game, there really is no other reason to continue playing unless youre having fun. popular games, when they have something buggy, bad, or toxic yeah people will complain about it but most likely people will stay playing because lots of people are playing it and they get that fomo.

mb to spam your comment section, but i think itd be so cool if they could announce world firsts. what i mean is when a new world is made and the cap is raised, announce the first person to make it to the max. maybe if they release more guild content, announce who completes the fights first. this is just my crack pipe idea, but itd be cool.

The thing is that the strat is so simple that getting it wrong is really frustrating. The amount of runs ive had this week so far where players 3v2 on the first round even when people say 2v2 is frustrating. Its near impossible to win round 1 if you 3v2, because there is limited time. Idk, I also recognize people are new but it is frustrating when time is wasted.

(I'm a very sensitive person) i played beast moon for the first time yesterday and i of course didn't know what i am doing and i kept asking for instructions but instead got two guys being aggressively rude for no reason .. i want to play it in order to learn but when i experience bullying .. a sour taste is always left in my mouth

I get what you are saying about the "try hards" but some of the noobs can be disgusting as well. Especially when people are showing them the ropes and they still chose to do their own thing. Which then cost the team the game. Or some people have the mentality when they know the team is losing and the just do random shit anyway when there is away to still beat them but they dont care and throw the match anyway. Fyi i'm talking about scores that look like 30 : 70 and or 20:60 and they chose to threw just cause when i have been on teams like that were we beat them cause eventually they get cocky and feel they better when they clearly are not.

I tried it for the first time and did not like it at all.I was lost and only won because I assume my team was just good .I found out later that the scroll of fortune can be a p2w feature to OP the event The real poblem I had was that I had no idea what the cards did and my one card would never cast I couldn't cast it on me or enemies or teammates so I was very frustrated since that I often had two of those cards and the other was a 2 pip so I was taking dmg while doing nothing then waiting for a heal card to only heal myself it was not fun at all. I mean it was easy to figure out it was a a sort of CTF type ordeal but took me a bit to realize you just stand there and wait for a timer I was expecting something way different.

They need to have a vote-to-kick option that requires everyone to vote yes to remove them. But that would require being able to pull ppl into games that are already going

Only problem I have with that is what if u get paired with a group of toxics who vote to kick you because your not playing the way they want you to

@@JessieDarkHeart yeah thats an issue in mvm in tf2 and i think its hard to balance a good vote out of 4 players. 5 players is easy, 3 votes and they are kicked. out of 4...do you have to have 3 votes to kick? well what if that toxic friend has a friend and declines the kick? 2 votes to kick? well if someone is toxic and they have their friend along with them then they can remove whoever they please.

@@JessieDarkHeart not only is it abusable but because of how the beastmoon event is you would immediately lose. Every second does count in this game mode and there is no way you will win waiting to kick someone and then waiting for someone to join. So essentially if you see someone as toxic and vote to kick I predict you will most likely lose the game!

Yeah I was considering doing beastmoon for spellements, since pve but if its that tri hard / toxic no chance I am going to do that.

Not sure how people accidentally end up in Beastmoon when you have to click something 3 times in order to join. I agree people shouldnt be rude towards new players, but saying they ended up by accident and they want to immediately leave is a little sus.

i love to play mmos, not just w101. ffxiv has a 4v4 pvp system, but instead of being able to type directly, its like bubble chat when you are in that game mode. ffxiv provided a good amount of queues and orders that communicate what you want others to do, without the toxicity. beastmoon could have a beastmoon specific bubblechat that says stuff such as "Go right" and such. also the amount of fucking doxxing on this game. i never seen it myself but from ur vids, it seems u seen it plenty of times. are w101 players unhinged or something LOL
