+The Gaming Writer There isn't a theme park currently in Britain that has a high enough budget to accommodate such an area. For example, the highest investment in Alton Towers was The Smiler, which cost £18 million, and at Thorpe Park, Derren Brown's Ghost Train is rumoured to have cost around £30 million. This, when compared to the $256 million investment by Universal Orlando shows how different the budgets are for these theme parks. In addition, there would undoubtedly be space issues- whereas these American parks usually have vast amounts of space to work with, UK parks such as Alton Towers and Thorpe Park either have very strict height restrictions that would mean Hogwarts Castle would be unable to be built (as is the case for Alton Towers) or seemingly not much space left to build on. This coupled with the massive difference in worth of the Theme Park industry in the two countries means that there would be no chance of survival- Approximately 375 million guests annually visit theme parks in North America, compared to that of 161 million guests in Europe, The Middle East and Africa combined (IAAPA statistics). That is why we don't have one, much to my, and many people's I would assume, disappointment.

Well I live in Colorado and I visit California every year, its much more easy access to go to Hollywood than all the way to Orlando.
