Reason why the books are always better than the movies. Totally envisioned this differently in the books. Harry's searching for clues, him saving McGonagall and stunning 2 death eaters solo and the time crunch of Voldemort finding out and marching forward. Movies can never truly replicate the books.

Snape killed Dumbledore on the latter's orders!!!! Dumbledore was already dying from the curse of Marvolo Gaunt's ring which was one of Voldemort's Horcruxes!!!!! Dumbledore wanted a painless and quick death and also wanted to save Draco's soul. Dumbledore also knew that if Snape killed him it would let Voldemort trust Snape 100%!!!!!

He found the ring in Gaunt shack and saw the Resurrection Stone which he hoped to use to see his parents and younger sister because he was hoping to apologize to them for his selfishness and especially to Ariana for not being a better brother. Dumbledore forgot that the ring was a Horcrux. After putting it on the curse from the ring it spread through his body and would have killed him if Snape hadn't stopped it but was only able to contain the curse to Dumbledore's hand but he (Snape) told Dumbledore that he had a year to live.
