Would you consider doing a Wizarding World or even just Hogwarts School years version of The Game of Life? Obviously, the Wizarding World one would be straightforward, wizarding school, marriage, children and themed events such as attending sports matches, job promotions and encountering magic creatures. Basically OG Game of Life with a magical twist. The School one would be more interesting. Instead of choosing education or work at the beginning you could choose your Hogwarts house. You could replace jobs with different wands which give you house points (money), you land on the space offering the chance to go to Ollivander's shop later in the game to change your wand to a better one instead of OG games night school. For children, you could replace them with pets and friends. Buying Houses could instead be different types of brooms or mounts. Events could be classes, or general magical school things for example, "moving stairs/peeves make you detour spin to go back or forward two spaces". These are just off the top of my head and right now can't think of a good replacement for the retirement mansion and cottage, but I would love to see if this would work.

The only think i would have possibly done differently, is given the back of your monopoly board a marauders map design. The tape on the back is too visible and looks like it might easily snag with regular wear and tear usage. So, with the board folded I would have glued on the map logo (or possibly the Hogwarts Castle at night image) giving allowance for the bend. I think your design is very will done. I like the wizarding world as a whole, more than just the the Harry Potter TM, so seeing items like this are a real treat for me personally.

If they were recreating the muggle Monopoly game as a novelty item for wizards - I think it's very possible that they would make their own version of paper money for the game. I chose to do this with Galleons. Part of the reason why is: can you imagine having to make that many DIY coins? Lol. There's a total of 240 paper bills with monopoly.

Muggle Magic I understand that logic, but it seems that they would want to transfer the "odd" muggle system to the more "familiar" system of Galleons, Sickles, and Knuts, instead of just using different denominations of Galleons. I also understand that working with those would be awkward, but it seems like a fun thing to include, if only in listing prices in each coin. Might have to print more of the bills, though. Other than that, I absolutely loved your version, the artwork is great, love the way it respects Monopoly and the wizarding world at the same time. This is genius.

Wizards do actually use paper money, just not on a regular basis. I was able to get my hands on some Wizarding coins & trust me those suckers are a pain to try replicating for anything.

Oh man, the wizardopoly design looks sooo goood, thank you! Maybe I'll even start playing monopoly again with this bc it just looks so good. Also, maybe you should change to another "glasses shop" haha (I forgot what's it called in english) I would really enjoy watching more of these "muggle stuff turned into wizard stuff" videos! It could even be "wizard bottle labels" (not like potions but more like "water", "apple juice" etc with a magical touch) or something like "magical scribble books" (like the hufflepuff one you did back then but more "universal magical" does this make sense?) Maybe even Fantastic Beast -inspired.

Hi Danny, I'm a long-time watcher, first-time commenter. Wonderful Wizardopoly game! Your designs are brilliant. Since you always ask for suggestions: What I would LOVE is a lenticular portrait of Dumbledore sleeping. It would only need minimal movement -- like his chest rising and falling as he breathes, maybe his moustache moving a little. As a DIY, I understand this would be a bit difficult, requiring that tiny corrugated lens plastic that lenticulars require. Still, that's truly what I long to have. I would frame it and hang it after I made it! Thanks for all your hard work on the HP makeables!

I love the creative process behind you coming up with this -- the way wizards would think when making monopoly. creative! i myself was inspired by the "pre-Voldermort" years of Hogwarts (think movies 1 2 and 3) my Hogwarts Monopoly consists of four houses as the four sides of the board, with each classroom as a step. I used Lego Harry Potter pieces as gamepieces

I follow another KZbin account called kwikspell and he has an ingenious way of adding foil to his paper projects! If the design is printed on a laser printer you put the foil on top of the paper then another extra scrap piece on top and run it through a laminator (minus the plastic of course) and the foil only sticks to what was printed with the laser printer! Try it out! Thanks for the projects I watch these with my kids and they look forward to trying each new project! Our favorite by far so far is this game. Thanks again!

Omg, I can feel you on the glasses debauckle. I went exactly a week ago to get contacts for the first time (I'm turning 24 in 2mos, Ive had glasses since 2nd grade). I broke my glasses and was super surprised to hear that contacts are same day- so, even if I hadnt wanted them already- I woulda got them just to avoid my broken glasses. Its so expensive. Ive made 2 several hundred dollar charges to my card, a 22$ charge for EYE DROPS (around 12 hours they get DRY) and I still have like 3 huge payments to make. Half my glasses payment, and my actual contact order- lucky I'm doing a monthly trial so I dont have to pay the last two huge payments for 30 days lol. But like, jeesh- just let me pay for everything at once. But, I am getting new glasses that are a super nice brand so I wont have to get any for a few years, a 6mos supply of 1-a days, a year supply of monthlys and those expensive ass eyedrops... So hopefully I'll be good for a year and a half after this lol

actually, i think it would have been nice if the wizardopoly game was more like the wizardly style. That is to say the properties weren't just squares and were random shapes, and placed randomly on the board with an arrow indicating where you need to go. But it looks fun.

Here's an idea for your next DIY project that goes along with this one how about making artwork that we can attached on top of a pre-existing Monopoly game Box so that the Box will look like a actual wizardopoly box and not a monopoly box with a different game board inside of it

Pls help. I only have the smaller sized printer but the file download only has the option for 4 pages at 67%, so it won't print to 20x 20 inches, only to the children sized board.. Your video says if your using a smaller printer you'll have more joining/sticking to do (like many of your files, no problem) so I was expecting 9 pages. When I increase the size to 100% which I assume if full sized, I just lose part of the board off the page -but still only 4 pages.Would so appreciate some guidance. I have two HP mad autistic little girls and we all love your videos and Im themeing a whole birthday around your work. Big thank you. x
