Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord (Atari VCS PC-Mode)

I used to love Wizardry back in the day on the NES. I would love to relive this remastered, but I want to play it on the Atari VCS!

@@ObsidianContraption it would be great to see a native release in AtariOS. The game runs great in PC-Mode. A solid 30 FPS on a stock 8GB system.

I apologize for the question, but when you play this through PC mode, are you accessing Steam from the VCS’ pc mode? I would love to start utilizing my VCS’ pc side (and my Steam account) but I’m intimidated by the process…lol

No apologies needed. Thanks for checking out the video. Yes, I'm running this on a stock VCS using PC-MODE. I loaded ChimeraOS onto my internal SSD and changed the boot order in the BIOS, so it launches instead of AtariOS. You can also run PC-MODE from an external hard drive or fast USB using the USB ports. I chose ChimeraOS because it's lighter/less resource intensive than Windows and runs most of my Steam games fine.
