Exactly! That was one of the funnest things about this game!! It's one of the main reasons why I keep replaying it to this day. I really hate that they completely removed that feature after 08, if only they kept on improving on it... just imagine the adventure.

It was more unique and realistic. Characters like Rey Mysterio or Jeff hardy couldnt suplex Kane or Mark Henry. Now its crazy that Rey Mysterio could give Kane the 3 amigos 😂

I recently sat down and emulated all of these classic games since I've never played them, dang I really missed out. These games are absolute fire, My personal favorite is SVR '06 but I can't deny that SVR '07 is pretty fire as well.

You can irgnore rope break in WWE2K24 too. You have to turn off automatic Rope Break in the Menu

You can't ignore rope breaks in 2k24, automatic rope break in 2k24 is only for the one locked in the move. Who ever is applying the move has to left go of the rope when rope break is called you can't be disqualified for not breaking it.

SvR07 was one of the best games i grew up playing on the psp. The story lines, plus so much more made you want to keep playing the game. I have it on PC & it runs smooth on the emulator!😆

I wondered if these newer games could actually do half the things I remember were possible back in the day. And I'm not surprised that they can't. They focused on graphics. But hair of triple h still looks laughable. Still looks cartoony. And the gameplay is worse on top of it. Pretty much across the board. On the other hand you could literally just upscale svr, improve lighting a bit, and voilà. Plus these newer games are like 150gigs, while the old ones are like 4 gigs max. All svr games combined don't make even near 150gb. So it's more practical on basically every level. If you want to have fun, the choice is clear. Not only were the og games fun, and packed with content. They also didn't constantly try to sell you some crap. Modern games not are only lacking everything, they're charging for things that you used to get by default back then. And even if you buy it all, you still don't have the same depth that you used to back then. It really is wild how gaming industry turned to dookie.

2K24 even doesn't have a motion that wrestlers grab the rope! Are they serious? Also, in 2007, the weight of wrestlers mattered so Rey Mysterio couldn't 't lift the Big Show, which made the game more realistic.

Personally I don't miss intergender matches. I never really played them. Also the wrestlers not moving on the matchup screen makes sense, WWE stopped doing that. I don't miss Buried Alive match, Casket pretty much fills that spot for me. Not using wrestlers in MyRise is fine with me, but I do wish the superstar variant of Universe mode was more fleshed out. And the spinner belt stopped spinning over a decade ago.
